That is not manouvre assist, thats front assist! Has nothing to do with parking sensors, as far as i know that works using the front radar!

There is a workaround to be able to have AA and not to root! You need to force stop AA on your phone, disable it, uninstall all updates, get the APK from the forums, install that version of AA, then you can have cartube, and other apps!

Android auto is an app that comes installed on newer android phones, as long as you have an android phone newer then 2017 you should be fine, the trick there is that android auto had many features in the start that were later prohibited, hence the need to downgrade, im at work atm so dont have my laptop but i do have a link to a guide at home, on my laptopt, that will help you with that. Once you prepare your phone, and install all the apps you need, there is nothing to do in the car, but, the car should be android auto equipped, you can check by connecting your phone to the usb in the ashtray, then on the radio open android auto, and see if you can get google maps, and various other phone apps on your radio.

Then must be a batch issue with the gear selector knobs, nothing else to it!

Are you using a lot of desinfectant on your hands? Have you had that issue with any other cars you owned? Im asking because its known to have people that have extremley aggresive hand sweat, that just eats away at those things.. I have a frined who must use driving gloves, or else his gear knob and wheel look like that in less then 2 months!

Having a car with most of the options, i would say i mostly love it all, but, having TJA, FA,PLA,TAS,SLA,ALG,RVC,CTA, i would say that i am most gratefull for having ALG, and TJA, for my drives in the city, perfect, for motorways its a godsent, loving the PLA, as i cant park sideways even if my life depends on it. Loving the heated windscreen, most of all i love having the option to turn on AC over a remote, although its only venting, means a lot during summer, as i can turn it on half an hour before i get to the car, and instead of 45+degreees C, its about 30 degress C in the car.. Also a feature i would not go without is the adjustable boot floor, and electric memory seats, saves you fighting with the miss over driving positions..

There was a solution, but it involves downgradind android auto, installing 3rd party apps, that support youtube, and others that support screen mirroring as well.. If you have an android phone its doable, not easy like 1,2,3 but its doable! No extra cables needed, as long as you have android auto working at the moment, you are all set up!

Not sure why everyone is so pesimistic, i mean, load sensors are not that expensive, nor is it a problem to calibrate a sensor to tell an approx load.. Albeit its still not needed in cars, but trucks do have them regularly and its no big deal.. About the menu, i cant find it at all, so ill give it a looksy with obd11, could be that its just not there at all!

Why would it be comedy, if tucks have axle load sensors why would cars be any different, it is doable, and plausible, really dont get the comedy here.. And yes, the rear light leveling sensor could approximate the weight very easily! As for the menu, no, my car has been ordered with the hitch, its not a blank plate with 0 towing capacity.. Possibly @SashaGrace knows how to code that menu in?

My guess would be that it utilises the sensor for the light beam, mounted on the rear axel, but that is just a guess..

Just tried this today, no menu in the MIB or on the dash, factory installed hitch,all OEM, no menu whatsoever! Strange!

I do have inner door handle illumination, sadly no ambilight, none of the superbs have door pocked illumination as far as i know!

Well you could drop a pin on your phone anywhere on the map and it will lead you there!

Thank you, can you explain if that menu is always accesible, or only when the hitch is out, or only when a trailer is connected? And how do you turn the menu on or off? In the MIB, or on the maxidot? I cant seem to find it anywhere? Does your care maybe have DCC? As far as I understand this, you cant set the numbers, its supposed to show you the numbers once a trailer is connected, it should read the numbers for you!

Ok, so a friend of mine has an MK3, with a towing hitch, all factory, as well as mine, but he has this display on the maxidot, where i do not, i have trailer assist , he does not, anyone ever seen this? Sorry its not in english, but ill translate from top to bottom, Says Trailer, then hitch load: ---kg, then trailer load: ----kg, then mind max trailer load! Read the manual! Any info is golden as to why he has that and i do not, and how to get it!

Not sure it can be dirty with all the exhaust gas going over it, at more than 250 degrees celsius.. Its just dead i guess, i mean the car has almoast 400k KM, so thats nothing to surprise you!

If it was inner door handles thats nothing new, my 2016 has it, as for outter, audi has that for a while now, even my old A6 had that!

Well, in my country it was a paid option, on the earlier MY, 2016-2019, not sure on the newer model years, on the saloons at least, the estates get it all as standard here. Has to do with aerodynamics, supposedly the saloons dont need them as the airflow cleans the windscreen, while the estates need them due to lacking airflow. Anyways glad we sorted that out! You are not missing out on a lot, as long as you have rear screen heating you can clear almoast anything except dirt with that! EDIT: Seems like in my country its still a paid option to have the wiper on the saloon, on MY2020 and above, 150EUR extra option!

Ooh, we have another difference between markets, for us here (Croatia) for a saloon, it was a paid option, 150EUR, not sure on the 2020/21, but for the older orders you had to pay for it!

Most of the saloons i have seen did not have one, depends if you payed for one when ordering

Maybe you just dont have a rear windscreen wiper at all, if you car is not an estate then you might not have one if its a saloon.

Mind i ask why you would input in that format, rather than adress, or use your phone connected to the car and navigate?
