  1. Im not sure, someone correct me on this, but does it not also shift up and down even in manual if you redline the engine for a period of time, or just drag it to low in the rpms as well for a longer period of time? Havent tried it out myself on my superb, but my audi A6 did that in manual mode, so manual on automatic cars is never actually manual i believe, the computer wont let you redline it for 5 minutes even if you wanted to..
  2. I can only give advice on 2. - as you have electric park brake, some form of diagnostic tool is needed, and take care not to extend the parking brake cylinder when they are not mounted, as that leads to taking it to a repair shop, as i think you cant retract them if you make an error, as for replacing the discs and pads, its pretty much the same for cars with and without abs, difference comes in bleeding the brakes if you try to change your brake fluid, its mandatory for cars with abs to bleed the abs pump as well, and its done via a diagnostic tool as well..
  3. You always have to wiggle the wheel, no matter what sensor, wheel or camera you have, it is not an autopilot, rather an assist!
  4. Can you elaborate in more detail about the procedure? There have been reports that doing the Audi engine mod caused various errors with ACC, DCC, driver profile selections on other VW cars.. The other mod you are reffering to i think has nothing to do with throttle response mode, rather then driver profile selection as i recall it!
  5. Interesting fact that webasto is not offered in the UK, is it law regulated, or just Skoda not offering it, mine has both the webasto and the aux electric one, and i must say even if you dont preheat the car, once in the car with engine running, it takes less then 5 minutes to get hot air inside, plus if you have the webasto you get the option to have it ventilate during summer, its not cooling the car, but does help to have it ventilated to the outside air temp if you park in the sun..
  6. Well, since i have some spare free time, ill at least give it a try before resorting to the main stealer.. Also, cant seem to find the topic again, was there not an upgrade to those, like from a passat, or similar? That gives better spray pattern? And i dont think mine are the fan jet type, rather gives out 3 or 4 streaks of liquid, or it might be they are both so clogged that it seems as streaks rather then fan jet type spray..
  7. Well, mine decided to stop spraying strong (no pun intended), can they be removed wtih the same procedure, as i would like to clean them, probably clogged, or limestone accumulated, i also have the non heated ones!
  8. Its a feature, called alternate park position, ment to save your blades, and the glass being scratched, and the blade kept in the same position.. Not sure how much it actually helps, as i do change my blades every spring!
  9. It does but cant remember of the top of my head which page it is, i went to check the manual if maybe i said wrong, and that those are for the roof bars, but they are indeed for the load cover, and the jacket holder thing, on the estate at least, but you must have the variable floor!
  10. Arent the cutouts for the retractable boot cover, and the jacket thing hanger? the wierd shaped square cut-out i mean?
  11. Interesting, we dont have any discounts, or alike if the car is fitted with an alarm or and immobiliser, but what i was trying to say is that not all cars come with it, at least for our market, its a payed extra!
  12. Or you just dont have an alarm, not all Superbs have them, mine does not..
  13. Not sure about that, mine is pink-ish, and has front heated glass, a buddy of mine has the same car, no heated front glass and its green..
  14. Figured it out, had mine on all, but, my childlock was on for the back, so that must override the all, hence it opens only front both!
  15. The ones with heating tend to have a pink-ish tone under the sun at the right angle!
  16. Interesting, as you mention All, drivers and off, mine opens only the front, both sides via remote, and ill check later to see if i have the same options as do you! True, if you dont mind the insects, thats why i opted for the webasto/and stationary venting, so i dont have to open them, as here you do have a lot of critters during summer, and opening the windows is really a last resort!
  17. Nothing to do with the car, its the phone, had a friend with a golf 7, same issue, same phone, threw the Žaomi phone in Sava, and bought a samsung!
  18. I know on most VW group cars its is, wasnt sure what the deal was on the superb, thnx for clarifying! Will look tomorrow, i wasnt sure if i did tinker with it in the MIB settings, cheers for the info that you can disable it alltogheter!
  19. Not sure you can open all four windows via the key fob, or maybe i set mine to front only, but i sure dont remember that i did, or did i anyways, if there is such settings in the mib, then it could be true, but otherwise i think its not the key to blame this time!
  20. My bad on that, didnt know the fact you cant code TSR on the newer HW camera!
  21. If you have electric memory seats, there is an option to code easy entry/exit, but be warned, it can cause seat to loose basic settings, as it does sometimes mess up, and wont respond to your saved positions, its nothing major, you just need to relearn the seat where the end positions are for forward/back, and up/down, there is a guide in the vcds thread about coding easy entry/exit!
  22. @TankTankBoom Yes, your car does have Lane assist, pictured on the pictures of the dash, on top to the right, there is a road symbol, as well as on the pictures of the front, you can see the A5 camera, triangle like shape on top of the windscreen, above the rearview mirror, and even if it did not have Lane assist, it can be coded, as well as traffic sign recognition, the button on the steering wheel you ask about is the shortcut to a menu to enable or disable assists, which the car has
  23. On flat surfaces it wont, tested this morning!
  24. Exactly, but, it will not turn the e-brake on if autohold is off
  25. True, but, on the Superb the car will turn on the parking brake automatically if you have autohold on, once the car is shutdown, or the doors are open, or the seatbelt is unplugged
