Any reviews on this car ie any software problems,driving experience.mpg good and bad points .apart from using dirty fossil fuel

Used stop star car for 4 years now.never had any problems at all.cannot understand why people do not like it for.

Tried everywhere to find a manual for my new car.all been well delivery mid September.my model is mk4 vrs 4x4 diesel estate car.anyone out there that can help on my search?just wat to read up about it before I get because intend doing a long trip 1700 miles within the first 5 days on getting it.with all the problems with soft ware I just want to be able to understand any problems I may come up against.many thanks

Again I ask where does this info come from?the major thing I would like to ask is.WHY does skoda not enlighten us all what is going on with delivery dates.it would be nice to find out.in any case are things starting to get better in this latter part of 2021 in supply of semiconductors and delivery dates ?one last point when is vw/ skoda going let us know when a major updatee of there failed software going to come out ,to sort all these problems out.

Skoda should give priority to cars ie electric cars.sorry don't agree with this all customers who ordered there cars regardless of what type of car ,should be treated as equals .

I was looking at rear car seat covers for dogs,they go over the rear headrests and the front seat headrests also have side panels to stop ant damage .also have cut out to put dog safety catch into seat belt holders.to me a much better idea than dog been stuck in rear of car.more so on a very hot day and the air con does not get onto that area.by the pet been in the main cab all problems solved.

Tried looking this up about targets for electric cars or get a penalty against them.i have asked around people on the trade but none can say they have been told anything about this rule.they say it is down to what type of semi conductors on certain cars that is the major delay.yes there is shortage of all semi conductors but a certain conductor is a major problem.can you please point me in the direction where you got the info from? It would be interesting to read

Said this before I was told 4 October for delivery then a week or so later it was amended to the 16 September.just have to wait and see.is it all orders not getting delivered on time?what models look to be the ones getting delivered late.again I was told some electric cars and the type of semi conductors used in them is where the big delay is.fingers crossed

Is there any real difference between a three spoke to a two spoke steering wheel?my new car that comes in september(fingers crossed) has three spoke steering wheel.to me does it make any difference!

It is just yours has not been in the sun that long.

So many different types of chips,what I understand off people in the trade it is down to the chips in all electric that is causing the big delay in delivery.not that they is not a shortage of chips in general .

Interesting reading,as of yet nobody has or cannot answer part of my thread.ie i was told petrol and diesel cars were getting built quicker than all electric cars.due to small number of chips getting used compared to all electric cars.some person has said electric cars get priority due to target for these green cars must be met.then you read there is big shortage for certain parts for some models.anyone in the know to enlighten me.cheers

Reading all these things are making driving harder.in a modern car you need a degree in electrical engineering to understand what to do and not what to do.a big thank you to you all that are advising us mere mortals how to get over these glitches.

Just thinking compared to other sat navs how does skoda sat nav add up ?any good or rubbish.

My delivery date was 4 October 2021 and after a week or it has moved to 16 September 2021but no confirmation on this date yet.

Don't know how true this is,the long waiting list depends on what model of car you are ordering.ie petrol/ diesel car the waiting list is not so long.again if you are ordering all electric car this is where the big problem in waiting lists.so anyone clued up how many semi conductor go onto a petrol/diesel car compared to all electric and are they a different type of semi conductor

Am new on here and read most of the posts,am awaiting arrival of a Octavia 4x4 vrs diesel estate car.up to a few days ago there was a lot of chat about problems with the software.in the last few days it has gone very quiet so are the new updates starting to work on cars?cheers
