I understand what you say,it would be far to many manuals out there to do what I want.I remember years and years ago every model had there own manual.you have to just to read on this site and a lot of people don't know what they have on there car and what they don't have.i have a order for vrs 4x4 estate and know most things are on this car but still not 100%.by reading online manual you can get bit bogged down .in any case I will wait and see what is on it and what is not .thats when I get it 3 dates up to now.

I know there is a manual to cover all types ofmk4 Octavia.yet why is there not a manual for each model of the car people have ordered?who wants to read a manual that is full of stuff that does not relate to the model you have picked.

i did not know a tyre inflator was provided.always thought the pump was just to pump the foam into the tyre.thx for the info

I understand you are putting your point of view over and accept what you say.yet you say customers some ridiculous omission towards towing but surly that is for the customer to ask these things before buying.not for skoda to answer to answer a question that has not been asked?cheers

Already bought one with a long lead.never had a need for one but with no spare wheel and the easy way to check tyre pressure at home.

Wonder how many loan cars they are out there.it must run into a high numbers.

I just went onto the Internet and there were numerous pumps with long leads ie 3.5 metres and more.

Just wonder how many cars are awaiting a fix? Hope the new update 1803 and the other component that is getting fittedworks for everyone.

I was reading about the socket been in the boot of the car and it had me thinking.if you have a tyre pump it will not reach all of the tyres with a normal length of cable.so can I ask how much cable is required to reach the front wheels.

I thought it would make warranty invalid but is there anyone ever been effected by this?sombody has already stated if it that good then why have the car makers not done it before now.there will be some people on here who will know about these things.,so hope they come on here and tell us the good and bad points of remapping.i think the main thing about remapping would be making warranty invalid before extra power and mileage.

I was thinking on the same lines.yet there is some who gets it done.so when the car goes in with a engine or whatever problem or service.will the garage spot it has been remapped and would that invalidate the warranty?

can anyone tell me by remapping it can give you more Bhp and more miles to the Gallon.so why do the car makers not do this during the build period of the car? Ie could remapping damage the engine and gearbox or other components of the car.

What software have you got in your car? What I understand the latest software is 1803 and what I read it is a big improvement on past software(I hope)please keep us updated ,it will be interesting to know,
