  1. Do you like them? Are they sweaty when its hot oudside? How breathable are they?
  2. Right, we could assume but i need more than assumption for 1300€ SInce ei believe the Normal mode is more like "normal dampers".
  3. Is the leather/alcantara same as the electric seat with different cloth?
  4. Not even all Skoda owners have the same issues. Its alot about different mix and match of things in your car.
  5. I do agree with this. I work in bisness where we install devices to customer premises. Every place is selling empty shelfs because of covid. It can't be a suprise that it affects cars. Yeah, well maybe car makers could be more straight about it and say that they have delays. But i believe they have thousands of orders in and they cant invidually report to everyone. I myself am just lucky to order my car now. Dealer said i can have it in 3 months. I asked VW about Golf delivery times. They said that at the moment its undefined.
  6. Any ideas how stiff iss the DCC Normal compared to RS iV stock suspension/dampers?
  7. Well i mean the RS iV suffers from the plugin. Petrol and diesel RS is 15mm lower than the Plugin RS. And the RS iV is stiffer than "normal" plugin variants, even if its the same height. Thats why i was thinkin that, will the DCC go to waste since it's higher.
  8. So i tried the RS iV yesterday and it felt okayish. Stiffer than iV, but still ground clearance is the same as in iV and other "normal" suspensions. 143mm according to specs compared to 124mm from petrol RS. I was wondering that should i have it with DCC or, does it kinda go to waste since the chassis is so high anyway? I believe the RS iV stock suspension/dampers are stiffer than DCC in Normal, but DCC Sport is stiffer than stock Sport suspension?
  9. Ah you ment like a cloth folded so it lifts the phone off from charging range? Mm might thing about that even.
  10. How does cloth block wireless charging? Anyway, i like the grippi platform for phone. Dont want to cover it.
  11. Yeah well generally wireless chargers are slow, make heat and well.. for me are useless. I think it would not notify the infotaiment, since i believe it gets the information from the charging current. If someone knows more, i'd like to know.
  12. Hey, Octavia's here all have wireless charger. I dont really like to use it, but i do like to keep my phone on it. Is there a way to disable the charger with fuse or something?
  13. Dealer just told me today that current times are 2-3mo for RS iV and about 5mo for e-tec. This in Finland at least.
  14. Exactly. Stock photos are kinda useless. I'ld like to have my own dark'ish background
  15. Drove the iV model and RS iV the other day. iV stock suspension is horrible. Just like Style etc. RS iV is stiffer, but same height. RS iV has 143mm ground clearance and TSI/TDI 129mm according to tech specs. I'd really like the RS iV to be lower, but i just have to live with it. Changed my e-tec order to RS iV. Much better interior and i got hooked to the plugin version.
  16. i've actually checked that video. I know that the springs are the same, so it only affects dampers. This is the one i want to know. Even though my thougs have been turning towards plug-in hybrid or even RS iV. Not sure what the dealer can offer me. Also i require a towing hook for bikes.
  17. Thats why i want to make sure i get the best i can have :p
  18. I mean any picture from side is welcome. Whether you have DCC or sport suspension.
  19. Hmm.. the less prone to roll definately does sound intriguing. I wish there would be some documentation/videos on how does it really work on different situations and how does it work. I believe i'd be using it as Sport most of the time, but i'm really annoyed that i need two presses to activate it every time i start the car.
  20. Nah, have to go with what i can. I mean i dont need a race car. Just want to make sure the octavia comes with the most suitable suspension for me. Unfortenately the RS is too expensive to get and keep (6k€ more) At the moment i've got Style with dynamic-packet ordered. Dynamic packet has sport suspension included. Yeah, i know the RS only has sport suspension or optionally DCC. Which i'm curious is, how does the RS stock sport suspension compare to the optional sport suspension for Style e-tec. Is it the same sport suspension on both?
  21. I do know that the DCC is more than just static stiffness selection My problem is that i dont know which one is best if i'd prefer stiffest option for daily driving, since i like to always kinda feel the road. Also what bothers me is that i'd have to ALWAYS select invidual when starting the car, since it seems to go back to normal on O4. 1) By non-DCC, do you mean sport suspension or just the regular stock suspension? Ah, i didnt know "Sport is stiffer" ment its stiffer than non-DCC. My bad. edit: DCC should be -10mm and sport suspension -15mm. Not sure if noticeable.
  22. Well nidza was more like telling me what the DCC does, not how it differs from anything. Also the driving profile he has, is from O3, which does not relate to O4. Perhaps ja question to @nidza. How does the DCC sport compare to Sport suspension? I would try it out on the dealer, but they have nothing with the optional sport suspension. They have vRS but no one seems to know is the vRS stock dampers same as the optional Sport suspension. i do appreciate all the answers, but i'm getting frustrated since its really hard to get this information. Current order is with optional sport suspension. Would like to know if that is the same as stock suspension/dampers on vRS. Bonus question is, how does the DCC sport compare to optional sport suspension.
  23. Err what? DCC normal is like a normal suspension, got it, but the quesion was how does DCC sport mode compare to the optional Sport suspension. YOu know you basically game me no information, since you're running mk3 which does keeps settings until next ignition. O4 apparently does not.
