Engine turns off when you stop for traffic right? You could perhaps turn it to Neutral manually and see if that still happens? Does it make this noise whether driving with EV mode only or engine only?

That green one is a RS iV plugin version. This (white) is also an RS iV but looks alot lower.

Yeah that looks very good. I did check an RS iV on the dealer and look at the wheel arch empty space... Although mine is coming with your rims and DCC. If mine will come looking like that, i'll have to add rocks to lower it and keep my guarantee.

Interesting. Altough you missed the size. I just saw a factory fresh RS iV on the dealer. It had 18" Bridgestone Turanza T005 under it. I hope my 19" will not be Turanza's

Yeah for 660 Euros i like to keep my dash without a hole in it Here in Finland the sun is low alot which makes it stare right at you.

I'd like to have some statistics about what tyres did your Octavia come with. Interested on any model. Please tell me size, maker/model and maybe even manufacture date.

Hmm i actually ditched the HUD when swapped my order from e-tec to rs iv. The hud is nice, but without the AR i think its not worth the 660€. Does not work with polarized sunglasses and i'd only prefer it for the nav directions. Also i dislike how the projector hole reflects to the windscreen. I guess i would get used to it, but still its unusable when it's sunny.

Damn that LB looks good. I'm really waiting for my RS iV, but i'm very concerned on the looks. Wish RS iV would be lower :( Also mine is coming with black exhaust tips. Wonder if thats good or not.

I also advice to test it with some other cable/device. I once tested the port on rear view mirror with my phone and it worked. As someone said ingition on engine needs to be on. Not powered while car is off.

Yeah i prefer the locker method too. So my car value wont go down if the delivery time gets delayd. Now it's just waiting. Might be a shock to test the plugin on summer and then receive it on november. Perhaps the range isnt the same

Yeah sure my MY18 golf is bought with financing. I told my dealer that i'd rather hope the RS iV comes in mid november so i can more pay my current finance so i can have more down payment. Golf value will be the same even if the new car gets delayd.

Sure, I'm at Finland. i believe that would be illegal in Finland. Never heard of that type of disclaimers. Dealer just told me about the times and said that it should be here in november. I know people who have been waiting longer, but they've ordered earlier when there was more shutdowns etc. So what happens if your handover delays a month? You just drive your car?

Well it has canton, dcc, seats, mamba green and some smaller things. I got "special deliver" tick on the order since they could not easily sell it if for some reason i'd cancel it. yeah not sure if waiting times are tied to countries somehow. Dealer told me that realistically plugins come in 2-3 months and petrols in 5 months. What sort of disclaimer do you mean? I only have an "estimated time of arrival" in the order contract. I believe if it comes later i'll just drive my car until i get the new one, or they will provide me with something so my car price does not go down while waiting. At least thats what i've heard could happen.

Yeah i they do look comfortable and very nice. Not sure if the massage option really helps anything. For the price, would have liked to have cooled. But here's the difference. I really prefer the leather WITH alcantara. Leather is hot and sweaty if in sleevless shirt etc. My golf has cloth/alcantara now, and i really like the softness of alcantara. Also i think it quite easy to keep clean since imo it does not absorb as normal cloth seats do.

Currently no dealers have RS iV with DCC unfortunately. With "normal dampers" i mean the stock/default suspension/dampers on the RS iV. Sorry my english is not the best. Let me try again Is RS iV stock dampers/suspension stiffness same as DCC Normal mode? Or is DCC setting range always the same, I mean if i have Style 1.5E-tec with DCC. is it the same DCC as RS iV gets?

Perhaps dealers could be more straight with the delivery times. But i believe they even feed the information they get. So the issue might be somewhere above, maybe in imports. Not sure why VW told me that Golf delivery time is undefined since they pretty much use the same parts as Skoda, which claims to have 2-5 month delivery.
