  1. Didnt see any fuse for them on the manual I really keep my lights clean to make them light up the road more. Usually the washers dont do any good job and just sprays water all over the car. I dont mind them when its raining etc. But when i just use them to clean the dust off from windshield, i dont want them to spray all over the car.
  2. Hey, anyone disabled them or knows how to? Is there any other way than coding? Can it be coded off or add a delay before they activate? I usually keep my lights clean myself. Washers usually just make a mess without any cleaning
  3. Oh yeah. 225/45/18 is what i ment. At the moment i'm getting 3rd party rims which i'm struggling to device between 8" or 7.5". If it would be 7.5" i think i might go with ET42 to make them stand out abit more. Just wondering if someone has gone with 8" and might have some examples.
  4. Might be so. I remember asking for maintenance and i recall dealer saying every 15k,
  5. So i'm thinking about winter wheels. Its going to be 255/45/18. But what wheel size and perhaps ET42 or stock ET48? Would like to see pictures of 7.5" and 8" with 225 tyres.
  6. Ah, right i think only 1.5 TSI and lowers have ACT.
  7. Previous car i did oil changes 15k, 30... and then i changed it to facelift before 60k. This one is going away perhaps at 75k. I dont have many reasons to change them more than its designed to. Oils these days are like water, so i'm not suprised if the coming rs iv needs some top up.
  8. I would not agree on that. My 1.5TSI has nearly 70000km in it. Never had to add oil between the two oil changes at 30000 and 60000 services.
  9. Really depends on a car. Older models only coast on ECO mode. ACT (ACT stands for Active Cylinder Technology) is i believe always on. That can also be the e or eco in your instrument panel. Err what is PACC?
  10. Well removable "aerodynamic wheel covers" are not very common. It's quite normal to think they don't exist
  11. Agree on this one. Wheel caps are the plastic thingies over the bolts.
  12. Right. Just to make clear. ECO mode is a driving mode. Coasting is a function Coasting sets the gear to neutral and coasts with or without the engine. Depenging on the car. For example in Golf the coasting function is only available when ECO driving mode is selected. I believe most new cars have the coasting function enabled all the time. At least MHEV's and Hybrids.
  13. I believe with ECO mode you mean the coasting function? I've noticed this with my MY18 Golf. Sometimes it does not start coasting. Tap on the throttle engages the coasting again. I believe it's just how its programmed. It thinks you dont want to coast, or some other restriction is stopping it from coasting. Tapping the throttle tells the computers that you want to move, not slow down lets the car coast.
  14. Thanks for the tip. Local shop.skoda.fi page does not show detailed information. I was wondering about the wheel weights and now i found it!
  15. Interesting. I hope i'll get goodyear's also for the 19" rims Lucky you with the delivery. Mine's estimated around december. @T13Kappas näköjään
  16. Are you sure? I haven't seen any information about such
  17. The Low, medium and high are to set the automatic meet your preference. I use mostly Low, but when i know its damp or i've got snowboards with me i set it to medium or high. It still keeps the automation on but i can set the overall "strenght" higher.
  18. Finally found some information. Someone might be interested http://www.vwscirocco.es/bricos/manuales/Volkswagen%20DCC%20Adaptive%20Chassis%20Control.pdf
  19. Try turning kessy off and see if it happens again. Also i'll borrow this thread. Is it possible to lock doors when moving away from the car?
  20. I mean in MK7.5 Golf the arrival time and remaining trip to location is always shown on the instrument cluster EVEN IF the map is not visible at the time (even if it is in that picture) Not sure what you mean but if it isn't on, since ofc it's on in the background even if not displayed. I'd like to have this highlighted information displayed me even if i would use Travel assist view.
  21. Ah, i dont know/care about combi, since i'm getting an LB. Even the Golf was a HB with changeable floor height. iV has flat floor since the fuel tank is so high
  22. There is no "flat floor" option in octavia. There no place to rise or lower the floor cover. I actually quite like how the iV boot is made. It has about 5cm loading lip and the best thing ever is, that you have enough space for cables under the floor. Luckily there is even space for Canton woofer on the upper corner. Mk7 and mk7.5 golf hybrids for example did not have an option for better audi since its tied to spare wheel.
  23. Hey guys. I've noticed that i can only see my arrival time when some screen has navigation on. Is it true that i cannot have that information in my digital instrument panel without having route visible? Of course i could see it inside the rpm or speed, but there's plenty of space to show more data. Even my MY18 Golf shows me time to destination and how many km left. It's always visible with rpm and speed. Also i guess i cant change the middle information field? That's always going to be speed, right?
  24. That picture is from E-Tec taken few weeks back. That was a test if we need a towing hook or not. Got one bike in and agreed that we need it Too much hassle to fit 29er and 27.5". iV liftback has about 10cm higher floor.
