  1. IMHO I think 600W "total output" tells you nothing. At least i rarely stare at the wattage. It's an indication of some amount of power available. 600 real Watts is alot, but that's like getting a 9.1 home amplifier with "100W each speaker" which still weights 10 Kilos . Interesting to see that Dynaudio's amp is made by panasonic. Are the speakers still made by dynaudio?
  2. Similar looks does not mean its similar in any way I wonder what Canton speakers are they using. Dynaudio was Excite series, which was okay'ish even for home. Never heard Canton's home speakers live.
  3. Even if Golf's Dynaudio is better than Octavia's Canton, i'm happy to get some factory upgrade. Even with plug-ins they found a way to install a subwoofer.
  4. Mm no. As said, its an active system and it only affects dampers. Steering wheel, gas pedal etc is just a driving profile option. DCC is active DCC itself only changed damper settings. It can have a predefined stiffness with active dampening. For example it stiffens certain dampers according to what you do. It should for example set dampers to stiff if a tyre loses grip etc. Main purpose of course just to set the desired stiffnes all around. Changes what the active damping makes might not be noticeable until you drive one without it.
  5. Does anyone know if driving profile can be saved by changing some coding?
  6. Which ones did you give up? Did they say anything about how much it would speed up the production?
  7. Yeah its a player thing. If using USB or something, cant help it.
  8. Heh. Just got a call from my dealer. Skip Canton to get it sooner. Didnt know how much sooner. Didn't agree with the proposal.
  9. Who actually cares about double fog lights? For me it makes the tail lights more cleaner looking when there less lights. I dont see any reason i would want to be behind a car with three fog lights staring at me.
  10. even if it gets warm to the touch, its not a thing to worry. Even the Type2 cable warms a little when charging EV's.
  11. Is it possible to lock cars when you leave it? Since its possible to open doors on approach.
  12. I think it was off because they changed options and pricing. In Finland my current order would cost ~700€ more.
  13. Anyone thought about how to change the USB-C ports to always on?
  14. Regeneration is done by the engine, which means it does not use brakes for the regen itself. I'd suggest to use paddles or S mode to regen 100% without brakes. Pressing the pedal applies brakes in some point.
  15. Interesting that Mamba green is named Hyper green. The orange should be same as in Fabia. Not to my liking.
  16. If you're not in a hurry, i'd wait for summer. At this moment some options are not available (like Canton and parking assist, if you care for them). I ordered mine almost only because of the "huolenpitosopimus" deal.
  17. Sure. It has no need in Finland either. But its easily removed with OBD11 Example here https://forum.obdeleven.com/thread/5553/overtaking-right-prevention
  18. Actually thats not a bug, its a feature In germany its illegal to pass from the right. https://www.german-way.com/travel-and-tourism/driving-in-europe/driving/autobahn/driving-on-the-autobahn/ So this is a feature which can be disabled with VCDS/OBD11. You can try to tap on the throttle. It will give your car permission to overtake from right lane.
  19. Finally you came to sense Have you decided the options?
  20. I'm also quite disappointed with the reversin camera. Golf mk7 and mk7.5 has a lot brighter image than Octavia. At first i thought it was set to lower brightness, but no. Its just stupid dark. Wonder if its something to fix with software or just bad sensor.
  21. Did you order the sportline or still thinking?
  22. For comparison, i've got vRS iV ordered also on august. First it was november or december. Then january, but last weeks update is somewhere in march maybe
  23. Also ofcourse the _need_ for matrix depends on where the driver is driving. If its mostly roads with streetlights, then there's little point to really take the matrix headlights. I myself would think they are the best option on my car in winters, even if i'd say 80% of my driving is just home-work-home. Our 2nd car is a Seat Mii electric with halogen H4 headlights. Never needed any better headlamps.
  24. They are much better even as dipped beams than the regular version. So even if you dont "need" the matrix function, they are still better.
