  1. How the car looks from a distance
  2. Not sure if they are of interest to anyone. I have a complete set, including all brackets / clips, carry bag, instructions etc for sale. Immaculate condition, non-smoker, no tears, rips or holes. Like new condition. They really do keep the car much cooler and much more privacy. Easy to fit and can be removed as required. £40 all in and I'll cover postage https://www.carshades.co.uk/shades-skoda-superb-door-full-rear-p-6497.html
  3. I wish I knew, I did try to identify them but no markings from memory. Paul
  4. I've got these on mine at the moment - I'll be moving them on soon, possibly, maybe..... If my tyre guy ever gets back to me with prices for the other alloys I'm putting on 😥
  5. I'm in the process, very slowly, of going from all black to this
  6. I wondered if it was potentially out of calibration. It sounds like either camber in the road or a worn bush
  7. Stupid question, it's not the lane assist kicking in is it? Have you got it enabled and if so what level of assistance is it set at?
  8. Just dug out the one I have to fit for my car and I am mistaken, it is a Luxell one. https://luxelleurope.uk/products/lx-6616spo2022102-8696616spo202
  9. Bloody hell, Maxton was nothing like that in the UK. I'll check the price and report back. Think it was circa £50-£60.
  10. Nothing to mine but gave a friend's a deep clean and fitted a Maxton spoiler.
  11. What colour is that? It looks stunning!!
  12. Yesterday I gave the old girl a good wash, applied some paint sealer. This morning I left the house at 5.45am to head to Potters Bar to have a reversing camera fitted and also the traffic sign recognition enabled. Great job by @ApertureS very fast and efficient. Tomorrow I'll be getting all the bugs off the car 🤣🤣
  13. Are the rear indicators now brighter?? The standard ones seem very poor to me. Any pictures?
  14. Yeah sorry, I didn't post a before picture. Basically there was water under the lacquer and some areas had begun lifting quite a bit. I've attached a picture showing what it was like in November
  15. It had a wash but also fitted mudflaps and did a refurb of my wheels. Can't believe the difference the mudflaps have made to reducing crap up the side of the car. Oh and I replaced the wheel centre cap Skoda thingameejobbies
  16. Did this on Monday in my lunch break. It really is very simple and straight forward. Took 15 - 20 minutes tops. Was really having to press on the button previously and now the lightest touch switches the ignition on and off. Great guide and helped a lot. The clips are a bit of a pain but nothing too bad Paul
  17. A few pictures of the old girl after a wash and general spruce up I'm thinking of changing the alloys. Not sure what make the ones fitted are, they were on when I bought it. There's some really nice OE Skoda wheels available.
  18. Good afternoon everyone New to the forum and have at long last got a Skoda. The Superb has been shortlisted when buying my past few cars but always went in a slightly different direction, until this time. So last few cars have been - - 2011 Volvo V70 (for 2.5 years - company car) - Volvo XC60 R-design (MY2014 - Company car for 2 years) - 2012 Mercedes E-class - personal car - 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe - (traded in 4 weeks ago for the Skoda, a mere 106,000 miles) Current Car - 2015 65 plate Skoda Super L&K - Silver with cream interior - Hatchback - 24,000 miles. Whoever owner it before me seems to have taken good care of it. That said, I've spent the past few weeks correcting the paint work and applying some protection :-) So far I'm loving it, it's great on long journeys, loads of space, great spec and there are just 2 minor things need sorting under warranty. A squeaky strut top mount / strut and a resonating / vibration at around 1500-2000rpm when under load. Other that that it is fantastic and they are fairly minor grumbles. I may have something to offer up to fellow 2015 onward owners that I hope may be of interest. Cheers Paul
