If you have access to a wet/dry vacuum cleaner, I suggest that you apply water to the carpet and underlay followed by vacuuming until 'dry' - then repeat and repeat.

These two screenshots are what I see when I select a route that I have previously travelled using the sat nav. The icon in question ('Parameters for route calculation') is in the bottom r.h. corner - tapping on it displays the 'Avoids' screen. I am not sure if that icon is displayed when searching for a new route, from scratch.

Check the 'Parameters for route calculation'. You might have 'Avoid motorways' or other 'Avoids' ticked. The icon for 'Parameters for route calculation' is a view of a road tapering off in the distance with a view of a gear overlaid. Press the icon and a list of 'Avoids' will appear.

Android Auto had an update around 8th August 2023 and since that date AA has opened automatically when my phone is connected by cable. Previously I had to open the 'AA for phone screens' app on my phone before connecting. The 'AA for phone screens' app is no longer required and I have deleted it. What are other people's experience of this?

Can anyone please tell me what the rating is of fuse #40 (12v power supply) in the passenger compartment fuse box. I have been unable to lower the glove box cover - my local dealer did not know, nor did Skoda customer services. Thanks

I access the split screen by tapping a 'split screen' icon - it is in the same location as the '9 dots' icon that is to the right of the microphone icon on your sample image.

There is a 'button' on the task line that changes the screen from full screen map to a 3 panel view.

I updated AA from Google Play yesterday - version 8.8.630424 - new screen layout working ok.

I was told by my local dealer that the Skoda extended warranty no longer requires an inspection to be carried out before the end of the normal warranty period. The extended warranty can only be taken out after the normal warranty has expired. I was told to wait 48 hours after the end of normal warranty, to ensure that my vehicle was 'off the system'. Obviously this would leave a period of time when there is no warranty on the vehicle. Has anyone been told this?

I recently downloaded this update (OI_P85_EU_202245) for my 70 plate (2021model year) Karoq. Each file has an MIB3 prefix. Ask your dealer to explain your situation.

If you search for threads about playing music files you should come accross one that mentions the way in which the files are numbered for each album. I think that this is the key to getting the infotainment to remember the last track played.

For what it is worth, there is a new update of navigation files ( OI_P85_202245 ) on the update portal.

The Journey Info screen is back after a short trip this morning. I assume, after reading smokeyjoe's comment "assuming a recent previous journey that day", that if the car is not used for a day or so, then there is no journey to give info about.

Until recently, after every journey I would get a summary of miles driven, mpg etc on the MFD screen. This feature no longer happens and I wonder if it is related to the following - when responding to this thread I paged through the various privacy data sharing options in order to give my reply to the advice request. Shortly after doing this I recieved several emaisl telling me that various Skoda Connect features were no longer functional. Skoda Connect expired on my vehicle in Dcember 2021 and I have made no attempt to subscribe to it. I wonder if the MFD message that I mention was a 'remnant' of a Connect feature and that while paging through the privacy options and changing them, that it caused the loss of the end of journey mileage etc summary. Can anyone offer an explanation or suggest how I might get the feature back, other than by Connect subscription.

The general sybol (Globe and silhouette of a person) relates to sharing of your privacy data. If you drag the screen down from that symbol, you will see four sharing options, with yours highlighted. You can change the option by touching another option. The one that you have enabled is 'No position shared' (I think) - and nothing to do with your iphone.

You would expect the update to be 22.7 - as others have mentioned on other similar posts. Maybe they have the online subscriptions or Software later than 0276.

Despite a return trip to Glasgow, the Navigation database is still on 21.11. So I think it is time to rmove the USB stick and wait for the next update.

I downloaded the file 'OI-P73_EU202225 ECE 2022/2023'. I assume the numbers 202225 equate to year 2022 week 25, which in turn would mean July 2022 i.e. 22.7 It may not download anything beyond 21.11 - I will have to wait and see.
