Is the 2018 Skoda Superb SE L Executive longer than other models? I bought some carpet mats on ebay and the rear mats were 5" short.

So called 'Budget Tyres' are just as good as all the premium named brands. I do c.35,000 miles/pa and have found Farroad, Blacklion etc wear and handle well although I don't drive on race tracks. There are some brands advised to avoid too. Read reviews with sceptisism. One downside is that IMO most Budget Tyres fitted to the rear are prone to de-laminating on high mileage useage, the fronts wear out before de-laminating. I've got 2x 235 45 18 NEREUS NS601 98W XL 235/45R18 (£65 .00 a corner) waiting to be fitted as their noise level is rated 69dB as opposed to most other's 72dB as I find the road noise levels of the Superb quite high as opposed to my previous 3 Volvo S80's

Obvious advice is to check that the timing belt (if it has one lik the TDi) has been changed as at 150,00 miles you're well into the danger zone.

IIRC I read that UK filling staions are calibrated to supply fuel at 15*C, so if colder you get more, warmer you get less.

I had something very similar drop out from the glove box when changing the pollen filter but it was black. I guessed and it put back in where the damper arm fits through, it fitted so there it stays!!

Hi, Re - headlights fogging-up, I bought 100x 1g sachets of silica gel for £2.95 on Ebay. Will report if they cure the fogging.

I had the 2000rpm buzzing, did the DSG Gerbox reset procedure ( Ignition on, push accelorater pedal to the floor for 10/20 seconds) Job done !

Hi all, Thanks for a really good SKODA site. Just bought a 2018 '68 plate SKODA Superb 2.0 TDi Executive - 103000 miles. Car drives, looks and feels like as new. Recently drove a 2021 Volvo XC60 and V60 and I prefer my car, even with the extra miles. Will leave a review of my dealings with Motoring Today, Wirral after a few weeeks from purchase.
