  1. You actually know that the measurement above is non-gated which means it provides little useful information and real frequency/phase response would be different from shown? And when you gate it its going to be with a gating frequency of at least 3.5Khz so again, a bit irrelevant?
  2. Nope. Read the AES papers (on their website) - plenty of info, unfortunately paid per paper but worth.
  3. Asked because it was a bit irrelevant. Airgap height is one thing that affects sound but air gap width is mostly dependent on coil used (i.e. up to four layer may require larger) and has little if any effect. Flux density has little effect on sound in conventional drivers besides if higher, ceteris paribus, making the driver more efficient and as a byproduct with higher Fs. Flux modulation is an entirely different animal and here saturating the gap (with a very strong magnet, pole plate design and usually underhung, one such driver is the JBL 2225H) or placing copper/aluminium rings (most used approach, Scanspeak, Peerless, SB Acoustics come to mind) aims to stabilize the field when the coil is moving hence modulating the flux (i.e, also visible on Klippel as BL curve).
  4. 205/55/R17 @ 7J ET46. Now at 225/45/R18 @ 8J ET46.
  5. Do you also get the maneuvering brake message? I get it all the time and today it came up on the screen 3 times within 2-3 seconds while driving and I had been driving for at least 20 min with no ignition switch off. I`m starting to think it could be related to the brake circuits.
  6. A bit of photos on the AEZ Kaiman 18" which I got installed today. Looking at them, I think a 18" stock at 225/50 would have looked perfect as arches still have space and tires/wheels looks a bit undersized to my opinion (if speedo was adjusted). ET46 at 8J - absolutely no issues and I really enjoy the way the car behaves now - no bent in curves and very solid grip. Indeed still cannot determine for sure if comfort changed at all but perhaps slightly firmer - what a shame Skoda did go with 16" and 17" in most modifications. Thanks for all comments!
  7. Safety bolt = anti theft bolt. Indeed its how everyone (incl Skoda) brand them (safety bolt set). Thx.
  8. Does anyone know at what torque should the Skoda safety bolts be tightened? Dealer told me there`s a booklet inside, follow instructions - it has zero information on this (indeed has a short message written in like 10 languages and absolutely nothing useful). I know the main ones should be at 120Nm.
  9. Mine was at the dealer, reinitialised software, still does it. It started since the last update.
  10. Mind if I necro? I bought a set of AEZ 18" 8J ET46. Its what their configurator spit out for the car. I`m planning to put 225/45/R18 on these. I see you guys fit 8J`s with no issues - 1.5 years head all still great?
  11. I`ll try to produce one for my car as these on here apparently disappeared If successful - will share the files for DIY. Plan is to use 6mm plywood/mdf, a magsafe USB-C charger (found one 15W that has USB inputs on both sides, 6mm thick, 30mm radius so ideal) and then use a liquid rubber black spray to cover up or a thin black EVA sheet to stick on top. The tray is conical and already made a mock to use for the actual woodcut. Belkin make a 15cm short & soft USB-C to USB-C to connect.
  12. Got cold and few months had passed. Back to old state - rough switch to 1st and 2nd and sometimes 2nd won`t go in. Piece of ****.
  13. After update mine does it as well. Its nice to pay 30k eur to become a QA tester for VAG.
  14. Mine has not rebooted since it got it (two weeks now). Fingers crossed. I also feel the lane assist to be in a different state (much improved) but not sure if it has anything to do with the multimedia software.
