Low coolant level warning light
Update. Popped into the local Skoda dealer and purchased a litre of premixed coolant for £8, put in half a litre, wait and see ? Still can't see a leak though ?

Low coolant level warning light
Hi John1701 Good shout, my driveway has a gentle slope and I've checked the level and it is below the line. However, the light doesn't come on as I drive off, but during driving, some days not at all but twice yesterday So, I'll top up the fluid and see what happens and report back ? Where did the fluid go, in a sealed system ??

Low coolant level warning light
Hi Guys Quick question, I have a Mk3 Superb 2.0Tsi Sportline, 4 years old, extended warranty. I have a warning light on for coolant. Not overheating, no sign of any leaks Seem to re set with ignition, lights up every couple of days, twice today. Pretty sure it's a sensor, any ideas comments before I swap it out (and I assume it's the one on the header tank lid ) Thanks in advance M

Pre-fl bi-xenon vs fl matrix side by side
No toggle, they turn on automatically when the -4deg frost warning lights up on the dash, You'll know next time you're below freezing and they work (providing you have the right mix in the washer bottle) Yes, thought about the lashes, not sure I like the look, more interested in the safety of having the rear properly lit up

Pre-fl bi-xenon vs fl matrix side by side
After the recent freeze, heated rear seats and heated washer jets, all original kit, coded etc plus a quick coding job on the Day Light running to include the rear lamps. I had to wait for my slot as well, worth the wait 😁

Heated REAR seats, retro fit, OME switchgear
Hi Guys & Girls Haven't posted in a while, just been lurking ! However, I do have a question for you, has anybody done a retro fit Heated REAR seats with OME switchgear ? I think somebody told me that the heater elements are actually there, just need switches, seem too easy 😁 Recommendations for fitters would be nice, I'm in London General update. Coming up to 3yrs (bought as a X demo) so first MOT due early next year, and a main dealer service to max out the last couple of months of warranty Ps. Any one else got Matrix LED headlamps, don't seem to be that good at spotting oncoming traffic and 'blocking' just stays on high beam. Is it just me or is there an adjustment ?? Cheers M

Standard cruise control on an ACC equipped Superb
Well. in theory, the radar should be able to spot stuff we can't ? Anyway, whilst one failure was in snow, the other two were in clear dry conditions (anyway, it works fine in rain, or did !)

Standard cruise control on an ACC equipped Superb
I have had three 'ACC not available' faults in the last three weeks. Root cause is ''Forward alert sensor impaired'' Turn off the car and it resets. One time it reset on its own after 10 minutes Grill clean, no snow, dirt etc. In with the dealer in a couple of weeks for its annual, but any feed back /ideas welcome

Standard cruise control on an ACC equipped Superb
Yes, the car can be a bit dim witted in ACC when overtaking, normally its because the car is either slowing down or holding place on radar and has to 'sort out' whats up ahead using radar before accelerating back up to your cruise speed. To speed things up, you can either knock the shifter back into sport or just take over, use you feet to override the cruise. Step off and the car will revert to ACC, Simples 😁

ACC, best this on the car (IMHO) transform the driving experience 😍

Service plans
Hi Guys This is all very interesting, if a little worrying, as my '21 reg 190TSi is due a service in April, I'm inclined to stay in the network to preserve the warranty (yes, I know that provided I use genuine parts I don't have too)..............but I'm not 100% committed to the idea So, I'm in North London, who knows/ can recommend a good independent VAG specialist ? Thank you in advance

New purchase - SOS issue again
Fingers crossed, hope you have a result

New purchase - SOS issue again
+1, a modern car IS SOFTWARE, unless you can show me how to run the car without software, complete BS

New purchase - SOS issue again
Same fault on my 2021 Sportline Mk111 facelift. Fixed with a software and hardware update, by supplying dealer under threat of rejection. Worked for me If you're playing the 30 day card I would insist that the SUPPLYING DEALER fix the car or they can have it back. You want a motivated repair done now, not in somebodies else's service queue Also they can't then say, not our fault we didn't repair it, you didn't bring it back to us etc etc Hope it gets fixed and you keep the car, let us know how it goes

Floor matts and other kits recommendation?
Indeed, each to their own. I'll post some photos when I get them. Black/Black, matching the same diamond pattern in the seats (Sportsline)

Floor matts and other kits recommendation?
Good to know !

Floor matts and other kits recommendation?
Have a set of these in the wife's VW UP and they are brilliant. Have a set on order for the Superb. They clean really well and, unlike the OEM mats 'bits' don't get stuck in the weave ! Also when you lift the OME mats out the still have stuff underneath to hoover again. Also with the diamond covers THEY WILL SELL YOU JUST THE DRIVERS MAT so you don't have to buy the whole set. Highly recommended Haven't ordered the boot one or a liner as I have the Velcro luggage steadies which need carpet to work

Enough is enough...2.5 years and still faults
Late in on this and sorry to hear your trouble Mine had a similar fault, three visits and fixed during a 6 week period Xmas 2021. Mine was x demo and an obvious fault, So, within a month of purchase I said, in writing, not fit for purpose fix it or replace it. They fixed it, lucky I guess as the THIRD re-set and software update worked. Unfortunately you're a bit late to fully back the car as you've had it too long, but you may be able to get an assisted part exchange for a new car with the factory chipping in. If you haven't already you MUST start your own dialog with Customer services, open your own case file and start pushing hard before your warranty expires. Maybe get Which Car involved (other titles are available) Please keep posting...........good luck in 2023

ride comfort - going from 18" 235-45 to 17" or 16". Has anyone done it?
Hi Guys My Sportline come on 19'' 45 profile, looked great but the ride was stiff. This winter I'm on 17'' alloys wearing Continental Contact All Season. Softer quieter ride. 17'' was the smallest wheel option when new so I was happy with hub and brake caliper clearances etc. Black wheels look 'less lost' in the wheel arch as the tyres help (also black 😄) and of course match the black sports trim Photos below (I just need to decide if I put the summer 19''s back on next year, however................On balance we have more winter and rain than summer sun ?)
