Delivery times?
Info from Skoda trade union: Then in the production of DQ 200 automatic transmissions in Vrchlabí a limited production mode will be set in the second half of next week on assembly, machining, in the tempering room and parts of the forge. I read on the Czech forum this type of DSG transmission is used in 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI. Maybe also TDI with less than 110kw of power.

These are not in configurator in Slovenia. You can order also others?

Delivery times?
Roads are not that great in Slovenia either. I was thinking about 18" rims, because those models look better, but I don't want to make the car less comfortable if there is no other upside except looks. 😕

Delivery times?
Guys one quick question. I know this is not the main subject here, but do you know if it is less comfortable with 18" rims in comparison to 17" on an ordinary (non RS) Octavia? Thinking of changing the rims in my order, because it looks like I still have alot of time till production? See, now it is on subject, just barely.

You will be lucky if it will be at the start of 2023 and one year later there will be a facelift.

Delivery times?
Look at their response to my complaining on reddit. At least is not the "same old same old" template of excuses. So that is something. Too bad I see everything I ordered in many other orders.

Delivery times?
That is true and they argue about every little thing. Just check the last 20 pages or something. German one is much better. Also start there at page 650 or higher.

Delivery times?
Thanks Joss1733, but I highly doubt that. Still no info about build date. Also if you look at the list, there are still some worse off than me. Many are not on this list, but I see even worst cases on Czech, Croatian and other forums. 😞

Congrats. As you are not in the spreadsheet , can you share more details about what you ordered?

Delivery times?
This is laready a ****ing lie: "Currently, the waiting time for new Škoda cars ranges from 6 to 14 months." The upper range should be a maximum and it is NOT. 🤬 Also keep in mind, this is meant for new orders, while they still can't deliver orders from 14 months ago.

Delivery times?
I am already in my 14. month of waiting with no info (ordered in July). So I don't think these news are as good as you think, at least not for me but I like your optimism.
-
Delivery times?
This is just some arbitrary bull**** importer gives to dealer, this is hardly some info. This would mean I can wait up to 17 months for a car to be delivered and the key phrase in the info is "should be". At least yours is already made and you will definitely get it soon. Keep in mind you ordered after me, although this doesn't mean anything to Skoda. This is clear by now.

Delivery times?
Good for you. I just got info from the dealer (he got it from main importer) after 13 month of waiting that it should be produced until the end of the year. 🤣

Delivery times?
This doesn't explain why some get TDIs much faster than others who ordered much earlier. The margin theory does.
-
Delivery times?
They still deliver TDI's and they deliver the ones with better margin first. This year I read an interview with someone at Skoda. He mentioned they have better margins for Scala, Enyaq and I think also Kamiq if I remember correctly. So I agree with AudreySI. I am not saying you are wrong about emissions, but also margins come into play.
-
Delivery times?
Congrats. Yes, the wait was very short, which is not a surprise. People that pay more, get the car faster.
-
Delivery times?
Expect more so you don't get dissapointed. 😞 Definitely not getting better, more likely getting worse. If they find anything in stock or a cancelled order similar to yours TAKE IT!
-
Delivery times?
I don't understand. So when is it supposed to be delivered now?
-
Delivery times?
Makes sense. You should order now, if you want Octavia mk5 delivered in 10 years. Even then, probably alot of people who will order after you, will get the car faster for some "mysterious" reason.

https://www.skoda-storyboard.com/en/press-releases/skoda-auto-achieves-positive-operating-profit-of-e676-million-in-first-half-of-2022/?utm_source=twitter Looking at the numbers the situation is worse than we would like to believe. At least for us, their profits are still strong. Here you can also see which cars have the best margin for Skoda, so Enyaq, Superb, Fabia, Kodiaq... ŠKODA brand deliveries to customers in the first half of 2022 (in units, rounded, listed by model; +/- in per cent compared to previous year): ŠKODA OCTAVIA (61,000; -49.5%) ŠKODA KODIAQ (50,600; -21.8%) ŠKODA KAMIQ (47,200; -36.0%) ŠKODA FABIA (45,900; -19.0%) ŠKODA KAROQ (43,000; -43.1%) ŠKODA SUPERB (33,100; -17.5%) ŠKODA ENYAQ (22,200; +52.2%) ŠKODA SCALA (21,300; -23.7%) ŠKODA KUSHAQ (13,500; –) ŠKODA RAPID (12,300; -67.5%) ŠKODA SLAVIA (10,300; –)

First let me welcome you to the waiting club in hell. What you describe is about right. Here please input your order info and check for similar orders: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/17h4myLSMpZ3dohgDJX25mkOhKLbyepEaeEeYcA3AqFY/htmlview#gid=0 Wish you good luck.

Delivery times?
Maybe true, but maybe this is just an exception and that is why this story made the paper. For Skoda they could make an encyclopedia, that is why you wont find it in the paper. I know, but what is too much is just too much. People are waiting 15 months or even more. Ludicrous! 🤯

Delivery times?
I think we already established Skoda doesn't give a **** about you or me or others on that list who are waiting a long time. This is a company and all they really care about are financial results, which is expected. So they will produce cars that have higher margins. These are cars ordered later for a higher price for example. Or cars ordered in other countries. Or just different models. So earlier orders are their lowest priority. Normally there will be some exceptions with some lucky orders. By now it is clear how they operate and no, they are not incompetent as I first thought and they know exactly what car is on the list and when it was ordered. So what can you do about it? Nothing. The only advantage you have is fixed price. For now. They also know, that people who are waiting for so long are already angry. So why make more angry customers. They squeeze in some old orders to production from time to time and that is it. I have already accepted this and don't really care about this ****ty car anymore. When it will be made, it will be made. If it will never be made, it won't. I just don't/can't care anymore. 🙄 Sorry guys, this is my last rant.
