Friend of mine went in and said he wants a Skoda and that he wont wait a long time. They said he can choose between one diesel and one hybrid, wait time 2 months. He chose hybrid and got it in less than 2 months. I know somebody probably canceled those orders, but I guess they did know the status of those cars. πŸ€”

  12. Skoda has most problems with matrix lights, Park assist, rear cam and comfort package 1. That is why you can't order these anymore, except matrix lights, that are in the RS package. I do feel your pain. The only one I do have of these is rear cam and I think it is making me wait. I don't think the problem is limousine, but certain packages and normally the price of the car. They still make a profit while selling less cars, because new orders are more expensive. Otherwise many people here got Octavias and just didn't report back.
  13. Why do you think limousines (hatchbacks) are problematic? Maybe that is why my coworker got his (wagon) in 5 months and he ordered after me. Mine is a limousine. I ordered in July. 😞 Please post back what you find out. I am from Slovenia too. Tell us please also what you ordered exactly.
  14. Sent a mail to the dealer today. Still no info. The place where estimated date should be, is just empty, so the dealer has no clue. Order number and date is the same as when I ordered the wagon and month later changed it to hatchback. I don't know if this means that I didn't go back to the line month later. That would mean that this month will be 10 months since order, not 9. Just negative info from me. Sorry.
  15. Are you telling us someone is waiting for a car since June 2019? That is not possible. Has to be some error in the log. Otherwise congrats man. Happy for you!
  16. One thing I will add. If this was my money, I would cancel long time ago. No info in 3 or 4 months is just not acceptable let alone 8 months or more. It is like there is no order, no queue, no respect for the customer.
  17. I ordered extras, because my coworker has them and he waited for the car from Oct 21 till Feb 22. So those extras don't matter. The only difference now is that he doesn't have a camera and his is a wagon. Yea and one more big difference, he is driving the car and mine doesn't exist.
  18. Yes, I don't have a choice. 😞 It is a company car (also for personal use) and Skoda is the norm. Also there is a budget. It would be better if Skoda canceled my order, maybe then I can push for something else, like a BMW or something. Used cars are a no go. Maybe I will push anyway if nothing happens soon, but currently I am driving an Octavia mk3, which is ok, but it's not a DSG.

  22. I hoped the same as you. Ordered in August and thought it would be a nice birthday present last week. Birthday came and went and my car never existed. At least some info would be nice, but noooo, Skoda gives no info.
  23. It was great for parking and also driving in the city. I later switched from electric to hybrid for acceleration, because it is not good on electric only.
  24. I drove my friends Octavia (hybrid) today. He just got it. It drives great and he has no problems so far. I ordered a diesel and honestly I won't miss the electric part. He waited less than 2 months. The dealer said he has 2 cars that are already in production (diesel and PHEV) and he chose the hybrid. Me? 8 months in, no info.
  25. Issue is not about them not working. Issue is, they prolong the delay.
