  1. I had the same question about 0w, and the answer I got from people was that they use 5w30 spec. I personally went for 5w30 Millers EE performance C3
  2. Seen those, but on the rear for me, I don't have the cover, only the groove exposed with those 2 holes on it.
  3. Hi all. For the rear, it it ok to use any of the holes circled in the 1st picture ?(assuming that is the right place). For the front I would assume the circled rubber cover is the right place. Thanks
  4. Thank you. In the end I went for Millers EE performance C3 5W30 fully synthetic.
  5. What oil do you guys use ? Need to change it, but I can't find anything in the manual, other than it has to be vw507.00 or vw502.00, and only on gsf or ecp it gives you the possibility to chose between 5w30, 5w40, 0w30 or 0w40. It's a 66plate 280
  6. I know I am almost 10 year late to the party, but trying to buy some parts from them, and nobody, I mean nobody sells to the public anymore. Anyone tried this account recently? Or is there another one that tps will sell for cash and not on account ? Thanks
  7. It's stock atm with stage 1 in mind soon, and from what I've read standard plugs should be fine, but looking at the price of some of the iridium ones, the difference in price wouldn't be that big. I always put super unleaded in it, either Momentum 99 or Shell V power, and all of these are E5 if I'm not wrong.
  8. Thanks. Seen that on opie, but was thinking what iridium plugs will fit.
  9. Are you sure these are the right ones ? I've put my reg and it shows them as not compatible with my 280
  10. They aren't failing, but it has been 45k since they last been changed, and I think this is the recommended interval to change them.
  11. Hi. I need to change the spark plugs for my 16 plate 280, and would want to go for the NGK ones. Anyone using iridium ones instead of platinum/double platinum? Thanks
  12. If you don't know what you are talking about, ask a vag specialist or search de internet, before posting stupid comments
  13. I think a dsg reset will make it learn again the driving style. That can be done when you change the dsg oil I think. Is part of the procedure. Also, you need to keep in mind that the Dsg gearbox is a bit 'lazy' at responding if in D. It takes a little to kick down
  14. Don't think is the right place to post, but here it goes : anyone here considering selling their 280/272? If so. Please send me a private message. P.S. I know what is on ebay/Autotrader. Thanks
  15. Thanks for that. Seen that APR does an clutch kit . Any ideea if that make it take more power or just easy the strain on the gearbox ?
  16. Hi all. I am looking at a 280 Superb 4x4, but I am unsure of the tuning potential of these. Anyone knows how much torque a DSG6, DSG7 or haldex system can take max ? I know the engine can easy get 500+ with intercooler, downpipe, intake, exhaust, and turbo, but don't know how much strain you can put on the gearbox without upgraded clutch packs, or on the haldex.
  17. Anyone knows if the part numbers above are good for the xenon lights with cornering. I have 2 broken clips (top and side one) and don't have the broken parts... and I am trying to fix it instead of buying a second hand or new headlight
  18. Hi all. I am looking at a new set of wheels for my mk2 Superb. I've found a set of 18's, 8.5J and ET45,with some very good tyres, but size 235/40 R18. Anyone is running this setup on a mk2 Superb hatch ? If yes, does it rub anywhere on the car ? Thanks
