It amazes me how some of you are able to get some info, I only have a week (20 or 22 maybe), but not sure what would happen that week - delivery, beginning of production,…?

On a side note, I’ve been seeing more of them on the streets lately, both versions, limo and hb. It just makes me wanna stop them and ask when did they get them and if they are satisfied - if it’s worth the wait 😊

Things are really starting to get worse. If you check the news, China is having new lockdowns due to new covid variant, so another rupture of supply chains, production of the neon gas dropped 50% because of the war in Ukraine - we are far from getting things back to normal I’m afraid…

Ok, I was asked but declined. Apparently the thing stalling the production was my premium safety package with blind spot detection, but I also have dsg. Didn’t want to change anything as it wouldn’t guarantee to have my car sooner.

Exactly your case I had in mind. Were you contacted by the dealer in December to remove some features that are stalling the production?

Well obviously I’m aware of the chip shortages (even before placing the order)🙄 I was just trying to find an explanation for the unusual production order with ppl receiving their cars even if they ordered later.

Do you think it has something to do with the price, as the prices have gone up 3 times already since my order in August? That they tend to finish cars that will bring more money first? I don’t know, just trying to find some sense in all this mess. And they keep selling cars…

Yep, seems so, thousands of unfinished cars, stored everywhere, waiting. Mine is supposedly due in May, but have no other info (as some of you have it in more details).

I doubt they have any info. When I was about to order, they told me they were the main importer for Slovenia, they can push to have the car faster than the other dealers…Last week when I checked the status I also commented that how come they have no info or power being the main importer, but were fast to find an excuse… I guess we’re still left in the dark.

One of the members mentioned that Skoda currently has no plan B for these products and the delivery is pushed back for several months. When did you order and what config?

Nov 21 was really optimistic, I was told cca 6 months. Since Jan 22 the arrival time should be week 20, but would be quite susprised if true.
