id be careful with boiling water - it doesn’t need it. Boiling water onto plastic (grille) may cause you other problems. Just use a hair dryer on medium to hot setting lightly then use dental floss. Sticky pads should come with the new badge which is ridiculously sticky. Buying from Kopacek, it comes with a further adhesive gel. They advise not to jetwash the emblem directly when washing but it is unlikely, under normal conditions, to come lose.

So I’ve created something that wouldn’t look out of place in the dingiest parts of soho with these nets in the boot. Does anyone have a photo or guide of what connects where? I have tried looking on here and elsewhere and found nothing! thanks

Can you set to source media and leave it connected but not playing? You should still be able to listen to Nav or be on other infotainment without radio/media playing

All white could be an interesting if not controversial look on a white car - not sure I’ve seen any….there could be a reason why I haven’t lol 😂

Dealer fitted front and rear to my Karoq - it offers some protection, personally would prefer larger ones to give better protection similar to Rally Flapz however they don’t offer fitment. You still may get dirt with them fitted but won’t be as bad without mudflaps. Personal preference really.

You will still have your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which gives you the right to reject the car for a full refund within the first 30 days after purchase. Due to covid lots of sales were done under “distance selling” where potential buyers could not inspect / test drive cars therefore needed this protection from dodgy dealerships where cars differ from what was advertised. I bought a dented and scratched Mercedes from a main dealership in Swansea and had to go through this process - it was a headache and that was with a main dealer so expect more of a headache with an independent small garage. Ensure you correspond by email not telephone so you have a record of all what is said. Some garages will not answer an email and instead call you. Be wary of this. To protect yourself you need certain things confirming in an email. Always hard to argue what was said in a call - your word against theirs. If you think worse case scenario and don’t trust any dealer, you won’t go far wrong. Regardless of who they represent, Mercedes or a one man band garage, there are bent salesman in my experience and what I have heard from others. Obviously not all are but if you protect yourself initially it may save problems later down the line. Hope that helps. Mike

Do you know the name and equivalent LED bulb - are they both w16w led bulbs? Does the same w16w led work as both reverse and indicator bulb?

I can recommend the Turtle Wax Hybrid series - not overly expensive and does a good job. Won’t beat a professional indoor machine detail though but good enough for the weekly wash 👍

Signs that Skoda is following the traits of its elder brother VW, Audi? Increased prices and option packs? Still think they are the best value available but will profits move the brand away from loyal customer base? Hopefully it won’t.
