Hey guys! Got the same problem again. I started looking all over the internet, and I think I found solution. I just felt like a complete fool. You see, when I had this low level coolant warning on the dashboard in the morning, I popped up hood and used torch light to see perfectly what's situation. Coolant was on the bottom of the tank. Almost empty! So, I finished work, started car and no error whatsoever. Gone to mechanic anyway, he popped up hood and coolant was barely below minimum. I couldn't believe my eyes! He topped up somewhere between 0.2-0.3 liter and I was good to go. He said it could be because it was cold in the morning, or engine pulled, or something to do with pressure. Overall, wierd experience.

Thank you for suggestion, I still have no idea what's the reason. I'll get back here after inspection and post if anything specific is found.

Additional information, in case it matters, it's 2.0 TDI 150hp.

Hello guys, same thing happened to me this morning. In April this year I did regular maintenance, plus major one, using CONTINENTAL CTAM CT1168WP8PRO set (with water pump), rollers and all other stuff. Did you discover what caused you the problem? I had recently 2 trips around 600km each with constant speed 150km/h (if that matter). I forgot to mention that I did coolant flush as well when I did service, using Motul G13 (not premixed one) that mechanic mixed with destiled water. Unfortunately I had to go to work, driving carefully, but temperature was steady at 90c. I'll go after work to mechanic and keep you posted. If anyone resolved this, it would be valuable information to share please.
