there is a grommet on the n/s under the scuttle trims its a blank grommet make a hole smaller than you need so it stays watertight or put some sealer over it this is a picture of an Octavia but you get the idea

check the basics first fuses and continuity of wires but it sounds like and i don't mean to be nasty but you may need to let some one look at it that is qualified

that's telling you there is a short on the ignition live circuit it also says its only happened twice

I used to get this in my Karoq if I had the key in my pocket and is probably why they provided a slot in the centre console for the key to sit in ,this had nothing to do with the back up position but it started every time the key was there and hit and miss if in my trouser pocket For reference the battery has nothing to do with locating the key and allowing it to start its purely there to activate the locks you can remove the battery and the car will start

I have just purchased a Superb sport plus estate and I was wandering if the sound system was up graded in any way ,I had a Karoq with a Canton sound system and the sound from this car is just as good it certainly hasn’t got a base speaker in the spare wheel has any one got any info on the system

Smart charging systems only maintain the battery at around 80% this is to leave reserve capacity for regenerative braking as said before, my concern here is a battery centre only using a multimeter to check a battery! Volts are nothing without amps

I did it on my Karoq the vehicle thinks it’s in a hotter climate so it alters the temp probes to react at a lower temp and the system runs colder it’s very noticeable when on low

So far I’ve activated lock unlock beep, Scandinavian DRLs, show fan speed on auto , hot climate in climate control , and refill quantity would like to activate boot closing for the boot via the button and I have been reading about upgrading the acc to include lane assist but theses are beyond my Carista and Bosh KTS

After owning a Karoq for 3 years I got fed up looking for a used Karoq so my dealer had a Superb estate sport plus and I couldn’t resist!

After looking for about 5 months for a used Karoq with Acc and heated front screen dsg and 20l diesel I’ve given up I could have ordered new but didn’t want to wait as I’m over my mileage allowance as it is and the dealer quoting 3 to 4 months delivery, I’m staying with Skoda and have bought a Superb estate sport plus 20d dsg I will miss the Karoq but I’m looking forward to more boot space (got a dog ) and new toys
