Uprating rear suspension?
Suppose this is a bit of an older thread now but I figured I'd ask, don't suppose anyone has fitted the 3Q0511115M (as I fairly often carry a car full of people/towbar fitted bike rack) rear springs onto a 1.6 diesel salon/hatchback? was tempting myself as the rear of my 17 superb sits quite low unloaded so need to replace the fitted springs anyway

New UK Brochure and Prices April 2023
Huh that kind of sucks for those that want that manual feel. But I suppose it's the way of things. Have to say though I do quite like the look of that exclusive metallic green colour 👀

Boot sensor faulty
So an odd update to this today. Was sat on a dull 12 hour day shift and decided to take a punt at changing the LED bulbs that were put into the boot lights back to the standard bulbs. And boot sensor worked again and fault has disappeared. Wasn't expecting that to work. Think it may be time to switch em all back after reading the recommended bulbs thread!

Boot sensor faulty
Hello hello all, Had a wondering constant pinging on the drive home today due to the car thinking that the boot is opening and closing while on the move. Already plugged in the old OBD reader and getting a fault on the boot/tailgate. 0069 B120c11: sensor 1 for rear hatch position short circuit to ground. Had a bit of a look around online and it suggests the sensor, though I'm not too sure if that's in the latch it's self or the actuator above it. Don't suppose any of you fine users have any insights to this? Tis a uk superb hatch 2018

Low riding on rear?
Did have a glance over that string over the last few days but admittedly disregarded as it's a 1.6 greenline Just broke into the 76k mark got it about 10k and got it about 8 months ago. Think it's a Feb 2018 model and seems to have had a tow bar fitted by previous owner.

Low riding on rear?
May seem obvious to some but I'm wondering if this seems to be fixing low on the rear? The front is as expected but rear seems lower compared to any other superb I see. The level seems the same on both sides so it's throwing me off the "something" is broken route Anyone else seen anything like this or is it pretty normal?

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Nothing too fancy just got a couple of 501 LEDs from halfords, can't really argue £3.19 for a light I'll hardly ever see and a spare for the (many) other 501 bulbs the superb has

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Yeah tired night shift brain did pick it up I have to say, but lacked the will to investigate. Looking at it now I think that's the previous owners dashcam hardwire (kind enough to leave it in when I got the car... for some reason) kit set up

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Having got the car a few months ago and getting mildly irritated with a "broken glove box light" I always knew it was something to do with this loose wire... (smaller black coated one on the bottom left) But it never occurred to me the wire plugs into the back of what I assumed was just a dampener to slow the glove box opening. At least that's the last internal light replaced with a LED now as well~

Superb Drakon spare?
I've looked relentlessly for the last few days and can't see to find any sort of part number or where to find one. was looking to get a hold of an extra to work as a full-size spare in the boot, don't suppose anyone can enlighten me as to where I could look for one?

2018 1.6 manual greenline remap
Suppose as the title up there says really, I've read a few about other superbs being remapped (mainly 2L DSGs) but wanted to know if anyone has had this engine done and the outcomes of it? also an ask about your MPG numbers going up or down regardless of what engine you have, was pondering a "economy" remap but if a stage one remap provides power and mpg I think I could be persuaded to go that way.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Suppose not technically all today, but brought it, changed out the internal lights, applied a private plate, got a replacement key for the missing one on the detachable tow hook. Very happy with it, good spec in all the right places for me~

Looking at joining the club
So I've always sort of wanted a skoda, but was always put off by people with the normal jokes about their reliability. But with the 308 on the way out and so many people at work with newer skodas I figured I'd take the plunge on a supurb (becuase even the basic speck is wow) After a little bit I've had this catch my eye. And honestly I sort of can't work out why it's as cheep as it is? https://www.cazoo.co.uk/car-details/637665f9-da65-5ec8-ae1b-e1437a1a0cbd Executive trim plate with 67k ish miles on the clock, so I figured I'd give it a go and if there are issues I can always just return it. But can you see anything obvious you can see wrong with it (apart from the couple o dents and chip listed by the seller/things I'll need to look out for when driving/picking up? Thanks in advance! Hope to join the club soon
