Hi I didn't put this on for an argument this is fact I put it on to make people aware that they may be towing when they are not allowed to do so I had a long ongoing issue before skoda finally sent me an email to say you are not permitted to tow anything

Please check the gtw on the drivers door pillar some octavias have a zero gtw which means they should not be used for towing seems strange but it is true

This is true the information is in the hand book is says if zero then the car should not be used to tow

same for me but towbar fitted by dealer

it is not a typo as the vin plate says 0 kg GTW

this is true the vin plate states 0kg GTW i have the same issue after three years of crap towing

Yes dealers don't seem to know anything about 0kg gross train weight

the size of the rear springs and the size of the radiator and cooling fan these items are beefed up for a tow car

On the plate on my door sill there are 3 fig and the last is 0kg is that the DTW
