Good morning. Spent 10 mins trying to search threads etc but couldn't seem to find the answer. Bumped my car last week and I'm looking at a new front bumper. I have a 2014 Mk3 Octavia elegance, hatch. My question, would the front bumper of an estate fit a hatchback? Are they the same part? As it is a 2014 it is a pre facelift. Thank you

Hi Pab, This option would be best for me - MIB2 Amundsen - OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) Would it matter about the display (8in original or 8in facelift?) Also, is the android car play wireless? Or wired? Is there a list of model numbers for the MIB2 glovebox unit? If I source the parts, would I be capable of fitting them? Is it straight forward? Would you then take care of everything else? (unlocking, updating etc) Thanks for your help with this Pab, really appreciate it.

Hello everyone. Been a while since I have been on here. I have a 14 Octavia Elegance (not estate) with the MIB1, 6in screen with buttons. Wanting to upgrade to a MIB2 glovebox unit along with an 8in screen (either original or facelift) Aware I would need to upgrade the USB as well. I also don't have a canton system. I'm not fussed about CDs/ Video playback. But wireless android car play, google maps on the screen, and not losing any functionality is what I am looking for. For someone who is not very tech savvy, all the different variation of model numbers can be a bit overwhelming. Was wondering if somebody could kindly post the correct model numbers that would be suitable for my car, so I can scour the net and ebay looking for second hand parts. I was going to message Pab direct, but it says I need a content count of 20 to send personal messages, thought I would pay £10 and subscribe but that has not helped either ha! Any help would be appreciated as I am looking to do this asap. Thank you

Hi everyone, Wondered if anyone could provide any info/guidance on a problem I am having. Bought a 14 plate Octavia Elegance 1.6TDI in January 23, everything been fine so far. My cruise control works fine apart from when I indicate right, it immediately turns off and when I try turn back on I am met with the orange warning sign. This only happens when I indicate right, works fine if indicating left. If I turn the engine off and then back on CC comes back on straight away. Been a couple of times since this problem that when I turn CC on nothing happens, like it isn't registering, this is after the error light comes up. The CC buttons are on my indicator stalk. Do I need a new stalk? Does it need to be taken apart and cleaned? Or a new switch? I believe there is different type of stalk which is a separate stalk altogether, just for CC (so 3 stalks coming out of the steering column instead of 2) would this fit my Octavia? I drive as part of my job and use the CC a lot so I can concentrate on unfamiliar roads without having to worry about speeding. Also use on motorways Obviously thinking of going to a garage to see if there is an error code that would shed some light on the issue. But thought I would see if anybody else has encountered this problem. Many Thanks.

I have just purchased a 2014 Octavia 1.6 TDI and I am having the exact same issue. Everything feels fine. But when setting off from stationary or on a hill I get a hoot or whirring noise until I go quick enough to take my foot off the clutch Did you find out the issue?

Hi everyone. Only been driving 18 months, juat got rid of an old 2008 Mercedes which caused me no end of issues. Plus a fortune in petrol. Just purchased a 2014 Octavia Elegance 1.6 TDI. Loving it so far! Very tidy and feels great to drive. So much more fuel efficient that what I am used to Looking forward to being part of the community.
