Lost all Audio Sound
I honestly think its a software issue . Mine was lost when i discovered it whilst travelling on the M1 . Tried a soft reboot ( hold power button ) and it didnt work. What did work was when i stooped to fill up and turned the engine off and 5 mins later started it up all was fine . Its a glitch and has to be firmware imo.

Strange sound from the ventilation

Strange sound from the ventilation
Its the mechanism inside the vents, my 17 plate did it ( not as loud though) i think you can spray stuff inside to cure it.

Lost all Audio Sound
2023 (73) Superb L&K (canton) Head unit works fine but absolutely zero sound from anything, ive even tried to select different ringtones and nothing. Its a 2.0 diesel not that this should mean anything. P.S tried a reboot by holding power button too. Anyideas?

Drive Modes - Reset on each new start?
I have a 2023 L&K and as you say the drive mode reverts to Nomal every time you re start the car but for a clear indication inset the ambient lights on auto and this can remind you earlier . Tbf the drive modes in the 23 car are some much better then the old 17 plated one, the sport mode is way more punchier and the normal mode is an all round decent mode to live with.

Engine flush ?
Exactly what ive been doing . Thanks for that .
-
Engine flush ?
I do an 10k oil change every 6- 8 weeks ! Thats how many miles im doing . UK based , use decent fuel and use TPS branded oil ( quantas 0w-30)
-
Engine flush ?
Would it be advised to run an engine flush through my engine every 30k ? Its a 2023 2.0 Diesel 7DSG Superb that is used mainly motorway driving but in constant use . I was told these late engines are prone to 'clogging up " and would recommend a flush however some people dont advice of using flushes due to potential chemicals that could do more harm for your engine ?

Wet Timing Belt
Any idea on replacement intervals on a superb 2.0 diesel 2023 ? Do these need specific tools as well like spoken about above ( post ) ?

Gearbox in emergency mode
What box is in the 2.0 tdi 2023 ? Are these also having issues ?

Oil consumption
So what you saying here stick to 5w/30 and go against VW / Skoda recommended?
-
Oil consumption
Yeah i think that also could be accurate.
-
Oil consumption
Im now 900 miles away from the first oil change ( I do enormous miles ) ive used about 1litre of oil as a top up that will probably work out per 9k miles. I done some research and apparently this is normal for all modern cars as the higher spec oil is much more thinner and does tend to burn quicker. However the offset to this would be better mpg and more environmentally friendly. Will keep an eye on things though but for anyone else reading this 1 litre ( even maybe 2) is normal per service interval.

Oil consumption
Think thats correct however is there much difference between the official recommended 0w20 over the TPS recommendation that is 0w30? Re the 5w30 thats only top up oil.
