Oil consumption
I didnt check the oil straight away although maybe after 1k and it was about 3/4 . But after 5.5 k the cold oil level is around the bottom ball of the dipstick. I can cope if the engine is still bedding in but if it is going to get worse its a bit of a worry. Ill be changing the oil in 4.5 miles with Ow/30 quantum long life...but im topping up with 5/30 ( bcz i have a bit spare ) Can anyone shed any light on the occasional faint oil smell coming thru vents ( very faint ) On another note will this car still take the same oil filters as a 2017 model with same engine as i still have 4 left .

Oil consumption
This has got to be an issue, bought a 1 yr old car only done 8k and ive now done 13,500 checked Oil yest and the dipstick is showing oil level at min mark so its like used god knows how much in 5.5k I change oil every 10k but didnt think id need to top it up during these periods . Another thing is sometimes i get a slight whiff of oil coming into the car but my nose is quite sensitive and is only slight. First of all im gunna get it checked out for a possible leak ( which id be shocked if there was ) But other then that, could it be that the engine is still new and needs to settle down? Last 2 skoda's ( high mileage) no burning oil so if its no leaks and the dealer says its normal then im thinking these arent very good engines to do this ? 2.0 TDI 200BHP by the way.

Burning Oil
Ive noticed my 2023 Superb using a bit of oil, bought at 8k when the car was just serviced ( as bought from a dealer ) its now on 12.5k and its dropped on the dipstick to half way, so not dangerously low but heading that way, i can sometimes smell slight oil smell into the car, im assuming this is the new engine bedding in but dont feel confident about it at all. What grade is the correct oil for a 2.0 TDI 200bhp?

24 hour clock
Its an easy fix . Just press settings on menu. Scroll down to configuration wizard . Left hand icon that looks like a clock press and change between 24h / 12hr . Takes 10 seconds .

Wow whats happened to the Superb ? My last Skoda ?
The new Superb is simply an awful looking car, especially at the back, very boring. Im in the market for a L&K mk3 around 23/24 and might be concidering one with a pan roof. The new one just doesnt look nice at all in many areas and whats with the instrument cluster? It doesnt look likes it fits ?

Vcds v top don
Is it worth going down the vcds route rather then a more universal reader like Top Don Pro, I'm normally a vag car buyer but I've been known to go for mercs & others . But VCDS is only for VAG and only able to have 3 vins so I'd have to upgrade later ? Pretty new to the whole vcds capabilities compared to others so someone who can share their experiences or comparisons I'd appreciated. Thanks.

Cannot refuel!!
My previous Audi a6 avant did 340k and springs was good, yes it's a vag car but only seem to get this on Skodas and read numerous issues on here with broken springs so it's a bit of a strange one.

Cannot refuel!!
On a side note these springs on these cars are absolutely ****e, I've had 2 go ( 1 in 2 places ) and my previous 2011 superb was the same, when will VW sort these crap springs put?

Superb Mechatronic issues
Sorry what is your car age and miles ? I currently have a manual gb and will be getting a late 23, maybe 24 plate this year and now all are autos. My worry now is that these gboxes are unreliable?

Cannot refuel!!
Has this only happened when you have the caravan hooked up ? Strange I know but a friend of mine had a similarly sporadic thing happen to his car and it only happened when the caravan was on. I have absolutely no idea tho but it's definitely an issue that needs sorting out, if it was under warranty they would most likely replace the tank and tube .

Buying a used Superb Sportline Estate, what options to look for?
Wow now that has totally put me off getting a pan roof ! Wonder why? Maybe the length of car and chassis twist etc ? Or simply bad design?

Rear brakes, timing belt, tailgate, Electrical coolant pump
I've posted in another post about a fault code P26F6 , turns out that this was the additional 'rear' water cooler pump or V488 that you quoted that was at fault. Yesterday TPS sent the wrong one to the garage and didn't have a clue how to get find out the correct one so the garage removed the pump ( it takes 2 mins ) and quoted the part number, think it works out at 170 odd quid plus vat which is absolutely scandalous, however I had to put it back on and arranged to go back to get it done but the mil late has stayed off since taking it off and on, was it just a connection issue? Might wait to see now...but apparently a very common fault on these . This has done nearly 290k with very little issues. Re Cambelt: different for me as this car is a workhourse but I change mine every 60k regardless of what anyone says, if you ever have a cambelt snap on you you will know why !!

Secondary Coolant pump incase anyone needs this for future reference.- Fault code- P26F6
Got the MIL light on and this is the code it is generating, anyone know what it is ? Car is a 2017 L&K Superb. 2.0 TDI 190. Hatch.- Traffic Sign Recognition on an L&K Estate
Should be standard on the L&K surley? My 2017 had it but I'm looking at last of the old shapes later this year 23/24 plate and I'd be disappointed if its not on.- L&K Shock Absorbers
I was told by skoda if you have an L&K you need the 'special' type of shocks that are adapted and electronically adjust with the mode?- Dome lights flashing problem
When I leave my cabin lights on they have an auto turn off ( 2017 L&K) . Personally I'd prefer the auto shut down option myself.- L&K Shock Absorbers
Seems to be a weak area to the Superb. I know plenty of ppl the superb 3s that have had broken springs and issues with shocks like misting and leaks, and too replace these on the L&K they cost a fortune due to them being adaptive controlled.- What bulbs are fitted to the S3 & upgraded bulb recommendations
No I can hand on heart say ive never forgot to turn my lights on, I'd automatically know when I looked at my instrument panel, and as a professional driver I see this almost everyday, saw it this morning on the M60 near Manchester. I ALWAYS have mine set to Auto and the only times I turn them on is when fog sometimes confuses them thinking its light but when you turn the fogs on the lights come one anyway. Bang on, they have very bright DRLs on the front so I guess ppl ate thinking their front headlights are on.- What bulbs are fitted to the S3 & upgraded bulb recommendations
Another pet hate of mine is drivers that turn their headlights off and think daylight running lamps are okay to use instead of 'normal headlights' not realising the rears are off , something I've never understood why car manufacturers made them this way. - Fault code- P26F6
