Installed SW train version: MST2_EU_SK_ZR_PO359T Installed SW MU version: 0359 Part number: 5000358648 Software version: H28.28.133_STD2Nav_EU I am looking to upgrade to virtual cockpit on my Skoda Superb MK3 2017 and thinking of ways to display maps and someone advised me to upgrade to 480 but not sure if it involves any problems.

I am looking to upgrade my superb mk3 headunit to MIB 2.5. Sharing pictures of headunit and control unit in glove box. I wanted to know if there is any way to just upgrade firmware on existing control unit and change headunit hardware to newer one? Would appreciate guidance here.

Are you saying aftermarket SD card worked on Ambudsen MIB 2 unit worked? I am little apprehensive as skoda software update manual says only skoda sd card will work with the unit. I dont mind buying one but if it didnt work then it is of no use to me...who uses SD cards nowadays its thing of a past 🙂

@Schlads2020I am in the same boat as you bought 2017 Superb. I tried it using 16gb card but skodas instruction manual itself says aftermarket SD Card wont work. Any luck with yours? Read point no.1 of this manual here : https://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/Download/amundsen_MIB_2.pdf

@Danoid yes, turn indicators work perfectly fine..its just that white DRLs faded ir turned yellowish. See video. VID_20230607_181719.mp4
