they didn't though. That's the thing. The keys were in the car. when I drove home they were working perfectly. to be honest, they shouldn't interfere with the settings of somebody's car without their knowledge. They should at least tell them what they need to do or what they have done,

I took my 2023 Monte Carlo to be washed this afternoon and now when I unlock the car, the electric folding mirrors do not retract or move at all. This maybe a coincidence, but Is there anything I should be checking for?

I have a wireless adapter for carplay which connects and works fine. My phone is also connected to the car via bluetooth whic I connected via a PIN code. Everything is great apart from any music I play does not automatically come through the carplay app, it plays through the original phone bluetooth connection. Do I need to disconnect the original phone bluetooth connection now I have the carplay??

I have a 2023 Monte carlo edition and driving, home Last night all 4 tyres displayed low tyre pressure warnings at the same time. I have had one tyre displayed on the warning, but never all four of them at the same time. I presume this is obviously some sort of error.. would it be worth just resetting it and see if it happens again or shall I just check all 4 tyres and reset it?

Tried that. Scrubbed them in Dettol lemon disinfectant. Still smell very strongly of rubber.

I had some rubber mats made up. The new rubber smell is terrible. The missus says it makes her feel ill. I put them out in the garden for a few days to air. That did absolutely bugger all, so I have ended up putting the old carpet mats back in again.

Apparently it only has white, there is no red. That's strange, I thought That ambient lighting consisted of red and white.

Yes, I saw that video when I was thinking about buying one. There are several videos on YT, and they all have good things to say about it. Some negative things are the cheap looking dashboard and door trims, but I can live with that.

I bought myself a wireless carplay adapter to alleviate the need to keep plugging my phone in every time. However, if this socket is permanently live, it makes no difference. I still have to keep unplugging it.

I know that the USB C socket by the rear view mirror which is for dash cams, cuts off power to save your battery when ignition is turned off. Is this the same for the two sockets in front of the gear shift lever or are these permantly live?

My 14 month old Fabia displayed the message 'Please replace key fob battery' or something similar. I thought it would last a lot longer than that. How do I find out what battery it takes??

I would book it in now if the 12 months are up. I think 190 days are about 6 months or there about. I wouldnt leave it that long if I were you.

I have been called by my dealer to be told that they have the airbag and can fit it next Tuesday. So three weeks all in all not too bad.

I took mine in on the 19th Sep and they confirmed it would need replacing and they will order one. It will be 2 weeks on Tuesday, so I will give them a ring for an update if I have not heard anything in the meantime. As Drewmac has already been waiting 3 weeks, I wont hold my breath.

Its a pain in the arse to get to from where I live, so I was hoping for a loan car. If its safe to drive as they reckon then I am happy to continue using it. My other half has refused to sit it the front and will sit in the back. If it only takes a couple of hours to sort it, then I might as well wait rather than get 2 buses and a train.

The mechanic at Willis Skoda in Ruislip. seems to think it's only a two hour job. so I might as well go for a coffee or wait.

So my car went back this morning to have the airbag checked. Unfortunately the airbag will need replacing, so I will have to wait for the dealer to order one and then come back and have it fitted. I guess these will have to come from the Czech Republic. Am I. right?

Unfortunately not. I wanted to do that too, but I ended up having to sync my phone to the infotainment system to play music. It does work fine and is completely wireless. I suppose you could connect a memory stick to the USB C port. That might work.
