Have just found this on the Ledperf site under their FAQ section if it helps anyone, it is of no use to me as I won't ever join facebook or the like. ( don't know what the discount is ) You can obtain a discount code on our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/LedPerf Simply click on "like", then on the "About" section

  4. Woops FnLn, I think I've just realised that you may not have been replying to me but Fawcett. that can be a problem when "hijacking someone elses post. So I think I've confused myself now lol. Was the Tuesdays post at 18:34 for stepdey or Fawcett please, Thank you.
  5. Thanks for the info mate, i'll follow it up, cheers
  6. Well heres my screen, what info can I gleen from this ?
  7. Thanks FnLn, Previously I've had 3 different Seats since 2012, very similar systems, although all with built in SD cards, quickly learnt how to update maps etc via help from forums, so will have a go and report back how it goes mate. Also have an Obdeleven Pro if needed.

Well up to now I've purchased three different sellers led bulbs, all claiming to be error free, but they all have a "get of jail card" whereby they state in small print that they still may need a resistor additionally fitted. The ones I fitted in my reversing lights, certainly are much more brighter but do throw a fault up on the dash until I switch the ignition off/on. I can live with that for a while until I get new ones from Ledperf https://www.ledperf.co.uk/pack-leds-white-6000k-backup-lights-for-skoda-kamiq-p-39579.html pricey ! But I can wait until their next promo ( which I should think would be Black Friday ).
  10. Can I ask please, as a relatively newbie, 1/. How do you check what version your'e running ? 2/. Where do you check to see what is the latest version. Thank you

Hi there, As I don't particilarily want to disturb the fittings again. I have attached a pic of a similar type of bulb. I would add that the Ledperf ones have orange leds around the bulb, not yellow like the non-canbus bulb I've pictured, There are also orange leds in the projector end too. The new bulbs are much brighter and illuminate instantly and are a much better quality all round. As I said I'm well pleased with finally finding suitable decent replacements. Well reccommended, if your prepared to spend a bit of money mate.

Hi there, Any one interested in LED rear indicator bulbs that work as they should with no faults or hyper flashing. I have today replaced my original incandescent bulbs with LED ones that I purchased from Ledperf.com ( based in France ) https://www.ledperf.co.uk/pack-rear-led-turn-signal-for-skoda-kamiq-p-39909.html Wow ! what a difference, well pleased, exactly what I wanted, and no signs of errors at all. Only thing that will put some people off is the price I'm afraid, Total price delivered was £34.93p this included a promo deduction. And a 2 Year guarantee also. They also have ones to replace the candles in the reversing lights, my next purchase !
  13. Found one, exactly like your photo, comes complete with continental tyre and the full tool kit in its styreme holder and securing bolt for boot, hope never to have to use it ? lol Thanks again both of your help
  14. Damn, oh well back to the search for something suitable, thanks for your input Kenny R, at least youv'e saved me wasting my money mate, much appreciated.
  15. Oops, is what I meant to get clarified was, is the bolt hole spacing correct on the SPACE SAVER 1K0601027F to fit mine ? Sorry about that, and I am very appreciative of your advice Carlston.
  16. Thanks ever so much for your reply, much of it over my head lol , the actual item comes complete as a kit, so my concern was really about the steel wheel actually fitting my bolts. I don't travel too far in my car so as long as it would get me out of trouble ( if needed ) thats fine by me. Thanks again.
  17. Hi there, I am able to get hold of this - SEAT LEON / VW / AUDI / SKODA SPARE WHEEL - SPACE SAVER 1K0601027F fitted with T125/70R16 Tyres, My question is, would this be a suitable fit for my Kamiq please ?
  18. I should imagine that the interior lighting is on a completely different electrical circuit than either the indicators or reverse lights, hence its not to fussy. Funny thing is mine already had full Led lighting inside the car, was surprised that they had not done the boot light as well. Have sent LEDPERF an email asking if the bulbs they claim to be completely error free for the Kamiq, can you get your money back if they are not error free? ( looking at about £40 )
  19. Hmm I can't say that Ive actually seen any that were advertised with resistors all ready built in, might be a cheaper option to try.'
  20. I just remembered. I did change the boot light bulb to a led and had no problems , strange , just a T10 two sided flat led. ( Sorry but the system will not allow me to copy / paste ). Stephen
  21. Lol - Point taken mate - these weren't particularily cheap, AUXITO ERROR FREE CANBUS T15 W16W 921 42SMD LED Side Light Reverse Backup Bulbs £10.42, so I assummed that they'd work ok at that price. However I can't wait , so I will see what's about on the LEDPERF site, pricey I do know before researching !! I suppose I could I manage with not doing the rear indicators but the reversing lights are a must. Let you know how I get on. Stephen
  22. Sorry mate, they do still show an error on the dash ( In got them from Auxito who described them as canbus error free, YEAH RIGHT) fitted them in my previous 2017 Seat Ateca, no errors shown, also upgraded rear indicators on that with no problems. I shall be upgrading the rear indicators on the Kamiq, expecting to get errors shown, only way round this I believe is to have the lighting systems re-coded to a different value so it does not expect so little resistance, HOW though ???
  23. I have recently purchased a 2023 (January) Kamiq and wishing to upgrade all the bulbs to LED, I had a look at the front indicator bulbs, I noticed that they are part of he daytime running lights housing, I could quite easily see that there was some sort of what looked like an access port on the rear of the housing in line with the bulb position, but because of a bracket just above it there was going to be no way of getting easy access to it to replace the bulb. I then decided to actually remove the bracket completely to enable my hand to pull off this "access plate" or so I thought, lol. That "access plate" appears to be part of the whole daytime running lights unit, nothing would free it, even had a strong pair of pliers on the protruding tab to pull it off, no go ! I have also worked out that the daytime running light unit is also fixed under the unit, its easy enough to undo the fixings accessable above, but the unit is still held in place after these are removed from below, shame. Also I have already replaced the reversing buls for LED, just waiting for the rear indicator LEDs to be delivered then I'll do them, no great problem.
  24. No one replied yet ?
  25. Exactly the one I just got, fits perfectly and found to be the cheapest on ebay, well pleased.
