Will probably fill up the the wheel arches better. 15" could look a bit small and lost but really up to what you think it looks like and whether it's worth the extra £500. Welcome to the site as well

If it's 40k then it's a load of crap. Cambelt should last at least until the 60-80k mark. -

Cambelt change at 40k miles, isn't that far too early? I can't remember seeing the 40K service mentioning anything about the cambelt in the service schedule. -
I find changing up at 2000rpm instead of 2500rpm on my 9 mile commute to work increases the (indicated) effciency by about 6-8mpg. Previously I've been getting 360-380miles from a tank but I'm on course for about 420-440miles this tank after changing up early. Top tip

Welcome! One more converted to the dark side

Welcome  I should think a quick pop down to your local dealers should be the best place to start. Mine get me a cup of coffee everytime I walk in. Which is nice.

Ditto. Repetetive playlists, 'zaney'/manic/Edith Bowman DJs and F**CKIN DFS adverts means the majority of the time I listen to CDs. Eagles, Bloc Party, Mark Ronson, Prodigy, Van Morrison (), Levellers, Killers, Old Skool stuff. Anything really, not that fussy.

If she can stretch maybe just over budget she could afford a high mileage new shape Swift. My sister's got one and loves it, it comes with a decent spec. Examples: £5700 £5000
