Hi as anyone painted all chrome on a superb ll, or had a professional do it, chrome is worn in places and I like the idea of gloss black, any pictures or thoughts thanks Shaun

Mine was for over 200k and I’ve always had the DSG service done what a bugger, luck is exactly what I’ll need 😭

Mines playing up…. Going through gears fine until 4, then to get it to go into 5th or 6th I have to use semi auto…. I’m a vehicle technician but I know bugger all about DSG, and ringing around some of my mates they all seem to say they don’t touch them, mechatronic unit was a suggestion, plugged it into my autel and it didn’t come up with any mechanical fault

Hello all as above how do I find my DSG gearbox code, I have a 2.0 cr 170 engine code CFGB, I can’t seem to find my gearbox code as wanting to find a replacement unit thanks Shaun

They didn’t say that in there website, when I went to order it stated £34 for postage to uk, what a bugger glad I didn’t order it now!

Thanks for the advice matey, I’m now sure of different years she different connections, I know they all look the same the quad lock, I know for a fact the head unit I purchased works properly as I seen it in the persons Passat I got it off, soon as it was taken out and put in mine it had no sound

Yes I have sound system there’s a amp I see under my drivers seat, soon as I put my columbus back in I have sound again when it works

Hello all new to this forum probably been asked many of time, My Columbus head until is playing up, so I purchased a android touch screen off Facebook, it worked in the Passat that it came out of, with my Mk2 superb 2013 preface lift there’s no sound when I’ve plugged it in at home, so it took the battery off for a hour, made no difference, please can anyone give me some advice, was advised it might need coding, so I spoke to a Skoda specialist yesterday and they advised me it doesn’t, so I’m bloody confused, has anyone had the same problem thanks Shaun
