  1. Bridgestone Turanza 6 B-seal W (94) With exceptions for people who have to be able to drive on the rare occasion that it’s snowy (so compromise wet grip for all seasons), and if you have the money, is there any reason not to get this tyre? Econ: B, Wet: A, Noise: 67db, b-seal helps retain pressure when punctured. Most summer tyres are rated around 70db for noise, and although a 1db difference is probably not noticeable, 3db is, and I’m assuming most Superb drivers would value that noise reduction over whatever track-ready responsiveness these tyres might lack. There are no reviews on tyrereviews.com or blackcircles so I’d be interested to hear if others agree or if I’m missing something…
  2. Thanks - that would make sense, but I suppose my issue is that what you’ve described is not what it feels like for me. For example the top and bottom buttons sometimes feel like theyre changing the amount of support, and the change of position doesn't feel linear, hence why i was keen to understand what’s actually meant to be going on in there.
  3. Following endless tweaking of the electric lumbar support buttons (up, down, forward, backward), I still cant figure out what exactly each button does, to add some method to the madness. The manual is no help saying stuff like it ‘changes the angle’… Can anyone share a diagram or describe what’s actually going on in the seat when you press the different back support buttons?
  4. I was wondering this but suppose it's a safety thing as whatever side the kerb's on, you'll want an eye on traffic on the other side
  5. First time posting here - very excited to be about to pick up a MY2020 Superb SEL 2.0 190ps petrol this week, looking to run it as a family car for as long as it'll let me! Does anyone have any useful tips, whether about things to check/ask the dealer before paying, ways to make the most of the car's features or ways to boost the chances of a long healthy life? I might be overthinking it but these are some specific things I've been wondering: - The car's been main-dealer serviced every 10k miles - is that worth continuing or is flexible servicing (sometimes 20k between oil changes) actually ok? - I've heard that the factory oil is 0W-20, but that a more viscous oil would give better engine protection (perhaps with worse mpg) - is it worth changing the oil type at some point? - What matrix headlight setting is most considerate of others - 'early' I assume, rather than 'late'? - Is the Infortainment Online subscription a total waste of money? The features seem quite outdated compared to Apple CarPlay apps - Apart from spare wheel, first aid kit, usb cable, are there any accessories it's great to keep in the car? I'm a glutton for detail so any thoughts or comments are much appreciated. Thanks!
