  1. Who is doing this for you and what is being changed ?? I am only in Naas........I would love to sample the finished product.
  2. I spent an "essential" night on the beer in Two Mile House on Saturday night. A good mate lives there. It's a small world indeed.
  3. Had the car in the main dealers today for timing belt & service. The fixed my seat issue.................it was just as the poster above said............it needed to be plugged in and recalibrated (nothing needed to be replaced or repaired) I don't even think they charged me.
  4. Hi Paul, I would love to hear how you get on with this as I am in the same boat with at least one of the shocks on my L&K.........I'm in Naas but I travel the country.
  5. Holy Thread Revival Batman!!!!! Looking for someone to reset my seat adjustment positions with VCDS if there's anyone around Dublin/Kildare........ah feck it........anywhere in the country!!!! Coffee and Starbars will be on me!
  6. It's going in to the main dealers on the 30th. I noticed something ineresting today and probably connected.............I drove my car without my seatbelt on and it didn't beep to warn me.
  7. This very problem has just happened me today !!!!! My car is going to the main dealer for Timing Belt and Oil Service.......I'll get them to have a look (and post the findings) Has been working perfectly since new (2016)
  8. Completely off topic but this time last year I travelled over to Castleford and collected a nice big Honda from Honda Castleford and rode it home to Ireland (long day)
  9. My 2016 has 190,000kms on it..... The mileage doesn't really matter.......a part can fail at any time.
  10. I have read that EGR malfunction can cause the engine to vibrate/rock on the mounts and also a failing DMF can cause this (the DMF rocking/vibration would be at a particular engine speed and torque load as opposed to road speed) I am having this issue at the moment, so I will keep a close eye on this thread.
  11. Who is the REVO dealer in Ireland ??
  12. EGR would be my guess as well..........
  13. Fitted all 4 yesterday just in time for the impending cold spell. Opinions and toughts to follow.
  14. I've run a bottle of STP fuel system cleaner through mine........as it's running ****e, to the extent that I think the turbo (or just the actuator) is gone or malfunctioning. It has very little initial boost.........you wouldn't be able to kick the ESP in on a wet road but if I treat the throttle gently it will build up a head of steam. I had it into my Skoda dealer for a full service and asked them to check it out but they said it was fine and not showing any errors or codes. I'm sorry Skoda.......but I know when my 190ps 400nm diesel is not boosting properly. It seems fairly intermitent with how bad it boosts. Is there any known foibles or issues with this 190 engine or am I looking at jammed vnt flaps that have screwed up the electric actuator. To be clear.......it hasn't gone into full limp mode yet. Throttle body....EGR......boost pipe.........someone please throw me a bone!!!!!
  15. In my experience (190 DSG L&K) if you are on the brakes already and it thinks you won't stop in time.......it will help you along, and it's not gentle when it happens,
  16. Drive it for at least 20 - 30mins in a gear that will keep your speed legal with the revs at about 3500rpm...........(it feels very wrong but give it a try)
  17. Hi, is that €1100 per shock, per axle or for all 4 ??
  18. Right, I'm gonna drag this thread to the surface again. I did fit the Accelera's (only a pair) last December..........and they are still on the front of the car, maybe 60,000kms. I am going to buy another 4 and fit them in the next couple of weeks. I've never had a set of tyres last as long and I never once thought "****, I've made a mistake"..........also I'm still alive. I drive in all conditions unless I can't actually get the car out of the housing estate and I found these to be absolutely fine.
  19. I find the base of the seat is a bit narrow alright (if you're in anyway portly) I'm sure if my waist was a few inches thinner and my weight a few stone lighter they would be fine.
  20. Hadn't much else to do during the lockdown but wash the car!!!
  21. Was it that stupid of a question ??
  22. Is it possible to download my saved destinations to a card and install them on my next car ?? (2016 Superb L&K to a 2019 Superb L&K)
  23. Hi, My boss has a 2019 2.0tdi (150) L&K DSG Superb. It's the "pre facelift" model with the buttonless infotainment system and 7 speed DSG...........is it possible this has the newer "EVO" 150 diesel with the higher torque output ?? (or how would I tell) I will be getting this car and I want to know what I'm getting so I can make my tuning plans!!!
  24. I got my 2016 2.0Tdi L&K DSG in April 2019 (from my boss) with 50,000kms on it ............I now have 185,000kms on it, and it's rising at a rate of between 8k to 10k kms a month.
  25. I don't know what they're called.........standard 19" wheels on the L&K in Ireland,
