  1. Hi, I’ve had a very good read of all of them hence having to create my own post unfortunately.
  2. Hi all, need some help.. I’ve got a kodiaq 2.0tdi 2021 sportline. When taking a sharp left turn, i’m getting some grinding noise coming from driver side front. Things i’ve checked are below.. Any other suggestions? - Has new suspension strut and mount - Had new wishbone and ball joint and droplink - Has new cv joints (inner and outer) - Had new wheel bearing - Checked using a gopro style camera to see if the driveshaft was possibly touching the anti roll bar but it wasn’t - Checked brake disk shield isn’t touching, even removed it completely - Checked is not the wheel scraping on anything -full lock the car in both directions and don’t get any noise, just when turning fast and the weight goes onto the right side of the car - Check shaft isn’t hitting/touching the shaft cover next to the inner cv joint - When turning normally i have no issues, it’s when i take a sharp turn or the vehicle weight shifts onto the driver side -Subframe all bolted down properly using collar kit - Inner and outer track rod was replaced - No engine rumbling/shaking so don’t think it’s engine mount. Any help or ideas as to what it could be?
  3. Hi, got a Skoda Kodiaq, When turning hard left, i’m getting a rumbling rotational noise from the driver side wheel. Replaced wheel bearing but still the same. I moved the dust cover back. I did put a second shaft on and it’s still doing the same. Unlikely both the shafts that i’ve tried are faulty surely? It’s only when there is weight on that side that you hear the noise. When stationary and full lock left or right there is no clicking or noise at all, only when turning sharp around a corner that you hear the rattling/rumbling noise. Any ideas? IMG_0813.mov
  4. Hi mate, do you have the part number for it by any chance? is it 05e906277a?
  5. Hi, did you find out that was causing the P0471 exhaust pressure sensor on the 1.5tsi?
  6. Hi, did you manage to find out what the issue is? I've also for a 1.5Tsi and the engine management light came on, plugged in and got P047100. Cant find anything online about it (apart from diesel forums) but mines the 1.5ti petrol. Thanks
  7. They are the ones who spotted it, from underneath you can’t see the back of the plate. So from the front it looked fine and the sides but from the back it was slightly kinked.
  8. Not sure how the kink got there, my car was involved in an accident so i presume it was linked to that but the engine etc wasnt damaged so really not sure… Just bloody glad it’s sorted as it was painful to listen to! Love the car at the moment
  9. Found the issue guys… It was the cover/plate around the propshaft, from the front and sides looked fine but from the back it was slightly kinked and touching the propshaft!
  10. Hi, so garage had the car for 3 days… They can’t find anything. The brake disk metal plate is away from the disks, the driveshafts are perfectly fine, i even removed the passenger inner cv shaft and checked to make sure the cv joint was all in tact and it was. So i got someone to drive the car whilst my head was in the footwell (off road obviously) and i could hear the running noise coming from the centre of the car so now im thinking it’s something to do with the propshaft. We’ve checked the metal play around the flexible disk is well away from it so it isn’t that that’s making the scraping / rubbing noise… Any suggestions?
  11. Hi, did you pinpoint what the issue was? i’m having the same issue with my kodiaq. Noise disappears when i accelerate but then comes back when i decelerate (like a scraping/rubbing noise) which sounds like it’s rotational
  12. Hi, back from the garage. They took it on a drive and heard the noise but when on the ramp they couldn’t see anything. Had 2 mechanics take a look from under the engine but couldn’t find anything. Told me to drive it until it gets a bit more worse and then it will help pinpoint it.
  13. I will do, i’m dropping it off to a local reputable garage rather than the ‘stealers’ as it’s out of warranty.
  14. Doesn’t the flywheel stop when it’s in neutral? Car has done 18k miles, 2021, been serviced but has no warranty left. Brake fluid not been changed but don’t think that would affect it. Had a MOT recently but nothing spotted. I’ve handed into the garage so will see what they find.
  15. Hi guys, got an issue with my Kodiaq 2021 2.0tdi 4x4 200bhp automatic. I'm getting a rubbing/ grinding noise when de-accelerating, happens in neutral too, however if i press the throttle in, it disappears, as soon as i let go of the throttle i can hear it. Its rotational sound. I've tried jacking the side up and spinning the wheel but i can't get enough speed on it to hear it. Video attached of the sound. I've checked the metal plate behind brake disks and also checked the cover over the driveshaft and they're no where near. Doesn't disappear when braking unless i heavy brake then it does go away. Ive recorded the sound and uploaded it online if this helps.
