Hi My Octavia 1.8 TSI is one year old and has nearly 8,000 miles on the clock. The first service showed tread depths of 6, 5, 6 (outer, middle, inner) on the fronts and 6, 7, 7 on rears. Is this normal wear or do they need more/less air? Thanks for any help.

Hi I have a two month old Octavia hatchback and the rear wiper stopped working today. The wash fluid comes out but the wiper seems stuck/jammed. Is there a simple solution or is a trip to the dealer required? Thanks for any help.

I have noticed that if you build your own Octavia L&K from the Skoda site, they charge £350 for metallic paint, but in the brochure metallic paint comes as standard over the Elegance! My dealer tried to charge me for metallic paint, despite me pointing out twice what it says in the brochure. I eventually received a refund from them.

I went for light leather and had it scotchguarded before I took delivery of car. It looks very nice.

I got mine in 9 weeks from date of ordering.

Collected my brilliant silver L&K 1.8tfsi today, 9 weeks after ordering.

I too have ordered without trying as there was not one available to test drive. I drive a 2.0 petrol Fabia at the moment so I don't know how different the two will be driving wise.

There is a good review by Auto Express on the Octavia 1.8t fsi. There is also a good review on the Top Gear site. I have ordered an L&K in brilliant silver with light leather seats and front parking sensors. Hopefully it will be delivered by Christmas!

I have just ordered an L&K 1.8T FSI Octavia. Should I use unleaded or super unleaded petrol for best performance/care of engine? Thanks for any help.
