Just had a second hand Injector fitted
The Top picture is now with the used injector fitted into the 3rd injector from the Cam belt However the below picture is of the other day while diagnosing the injector Solenoid Ground Fault problem Does this seem correct? Car feels lumpy at 40mph But also feels faster than just before it went into limp mode with Cylinder 3 Ground Fault problem Does it go 1-3-4-2 Does this mean my number 4 injector needs replacing? They removed Two Injectors have they damaged the other?

New parts now steering super heavy
Is it solved you ask……. Nearly Steering rack flashed Dataset flashed with relevant file ODIS-S offline can do a partial Calibration that switches both Dash lights off and fixes all relevant Fault Codes But still this issue Status of Basic setting - not active ??? No Straight Line Running No absorption of road & wheel vibration Feel at 70mph like the rack needs more power Only thing i can think is this CAYB car has a none original ECU i think from a CAYC with a different VIN number And ODIS uses this VIN to Identify the car The rest of the car modules are Original car Vin Also this ESP rack requires specific engine Torque to tell it when to give more assist while parking and firmer at high speed Ive just had an injector fitted from a Solenoid Ground Fault now the car is faster & steering feels lighter WTF , have the electrical gremlins had a hand in this all this time lol idk At the beginning of this ordeal i had a Vag garage use Odis online to calibrate it better than my effort however they also corrupted the Dataset to adaptations thus pulled to left severely on acceleration Anyone know how they could have achieved this calibration using Odis Online They stated “i set it up as a new column” But ive tried that also and it doesn’t do the same calibration as they achieved Just too add if you identify the car as a higher BHP aka CAYC in ODIS-S it gives a totally different Steering characteristics better & performs like a spaceship like a rough as F**k re-map lol Gotta ask yourself is it worth it over leasing a brand new car with maintenance and no worries

1.6tdi P0101 fault
Fault keeps appearing Installed the OEM maf instead of cheap Ebay one Manual Gears feel slicker & generally feels slightly better to drive however it keeps throwing the following codes and the OEM puts it into limp mode with Air intake Fault code -Maf fault code -Air intake leak fault code Hopefully its a hairline crack on some pipe

1.6tdi P0101 fault
Had the car undertray off Tightened a few jubilee clips at the drivers front lower engine bay they were quite loose Not sure if these are coolant or air intake pipes Car seems to drive slightly better Hopefully this is the issue Thanks

1.6tdi P0101 fault
Thanks for the reply CAYB 2014 On 60k miles? Egr failing ? I thought maybe because it only seems to happen when the weather temp is approx 20 degrees then it might only be some plastic becoming supple or some metal clip expanding thats not directly connected to the engine The cars temp doesn’t seem to make a difference The cheap maf is obviously less sensitive then the OEM that triggers immediately I have some domestic CO2 smoke alarm spray cannisters used for testing smoke alarms If i give it a vacuum test Could i just spray this into the air-intake after the MAF? Engine ON or OFF? Or is there some other Pipe N75? Etc to test from? TIA

1.6tdi P0101 fault
Hi Recently getting the flashing coil icon and the P0101 fault code Changed MAF twice for OEM however doesn’t fix and causes the the fault immediately ( cold or warm weather) Using a cheap Ebay MAF the fault only happens when the outside temperature is really warm weather 20* plus Car still drives okay possibly slightly worse in warm weather Anyone had the same problem? TIA

Fault code diagnostics
Also The replacement Maf causes the engine to lose power/miss when setting off Cheap Maf doesn’t cause any noticeable issues apart from not as slick through the gears
-
Fault code diagnostics
Currently has a cheap ebay Maf installed and the P010 fault might appear every 500-1000miles Replacement with a Oem maf triggers The P010 fault immediately after installing within a few miles the p2279 has only triggered once during this replacement install It started when the weather started getting warmer Brand new oem N75 recently installed New Airfilter recently installed 50k miles Hoses look decent but could have hairline cracks, Smoke test? Anything else i should look for? I have Live data diagnostic if needed

44 - steering Reset to factory
That’s the problem I’m struggling to find a decent repair mechanic who is proficient in Odis & this problem

44 - steering Reset to factory
Got a little further with this after picking up OBDeleven pro I’m thinking this could be the problem How can this corrupt from changing the complete tie rods???? possibly the garage stole & replaced the steering rack with another, with the way my life seems to be going the pan it wouldn’t surprise me haha feels like an episode of the truman show Can ODIS automatically rectify this online or do i have scroll the web & find the correct firmware flash file from erwin then give to the mechanic with odis Is there anyone in UK who fixes this type of problem regularly? I can’t seem to find any garages local to me apart from the dealers I’m guessing the last garage who used ODIS wasn’t savvy enough to fix this issue thats why the steering was nearly 100% fixed apart from no end stops & veered to left slightly on accelerating

Help Request: Sheffield-Based VCDS Needed To Clear Fault Codes
Yes i could help

44 - steering Reset to factory
After i cleared the fault codes from the above scan after ODIS All the faults cleared including ABS apart from steering assist then when I’ve gone to try set steering angle again in -44 using VCDS it immediately brought the dash lights back on Re-flash steering module? Not sure if i need a garage who specialise in fixing accident damaged vehicles what with the none original ECM cluster etc If anyone in blighty can fix this please do get in contact, I can pay a modest amount of shekels

44 - steering Reset to factory
Good & bad news lol Car EPS/ABS was fixed using ODIS Steering was stronger less road vibration through steering wheel, ABS & traction control working, slight veering to left though? Steering Torque? However Driving back the car felt not great checking the autoscan it had faults everywhere nearly every module (as the photo) So I cleared the DTC’s and back to square one dash lights back on Lucky i saved auto-scan before clearing anything, nothing seems different apart from an extra fault code B200500 & WS number
