How do I contact a member from the map/list?

Hi all, recently replaced my AGM battery. I have no access to vcds or obd11 etc. wondered if anyone in Norwich area would be able to code my battery in for me pls? Thx

Caps cost me £11 something each from my local Skoda dealer, was actually cheaper than anywhere else I could find. Luckily mine had 2 screws in each pack lol. I do find though the caps are quite hard to remove again though as there's not much to grab (another design flaw!) so I added a bit of grease around the cap oring to help in future removal.

Chrome browser android. Can see my attachments in list but only option when clicking on pic is seeing it, nothing else.

Managed to do it all today without bumper off. Found best way to twist bulb out was with a stubby flat head screwdriver, get it in-between the slotted plastic bulb holder and twist. Bulbs I linked earlier for £2 a pair work great with no errors, looks a million times better than the halogens 👍. Hope this helps someone else. Thanks to hubrad for earlier comment which gave me inspiration to use a tool of some sort to twist bulb out.

Thx 4 the reply, the tool idea sounds plausible as no matter how hard I try I just can't get enough purchase on it with just the tips of finger and thumb. Agree that the whole design is a nightmare. I've managed to find these at £2 a pop so hopefully will work, so don't wanna take the bumper off! I've managed to cut out the opening of indicator bulbs and managed to fit the repair cap successfully without removing anything, just working behind headlight, happy days I thought. BUT!!! Annoying I can't get my fingers behind with enough force to remove the old bulb, so frustrating!!? Any tips from anyone? Just can't get enough room behind there to twist old bulb out, literally can only grape bulb holder with tips of 2 fingers!

Update, fitted new footrest, fitted perfect, exactly same size etc as original.

Too cold to go out and fit today, looks good quality and looks same size as current standard black one so looks as though it will be straight swap. I'll try and post some pics when done if forum allows as it only seems to be allowing me to upload old stored forum pics for some reason 🤔

Thx 4 your reply. My original varta AGM is 68ah and new exide AGM is exactly same size dimensions and was described as appropriate replacement for original varta part no. Only difference I can see is it's a very slightly different capacity of 72ah. Couldn't see any 68ah batteries anywhere, maybe newer battery developments since 2013 is reason for this. Don't think 4ah is going to make much difference? Again appreciate your reply 👍

My AGM battery is original from 2013 and has started to give me issues so I've purchased a new exide AGM. I don't have access or such like to vcds etc. am I going to have issues with not being able to register battery? Or may I ask nicely is there any helpful member in the Norwich area who could help me with this? Thx in advance. I have pics of original varta battery and the new exide but forum media picker is being glitchy lol.

Hi, old thread I know but just bought a similar box to this and I have same car/Amundsen. May I ask is your car manual or auto? Mine is manual and and I've read I need additional wire/wiring for screen to switch to reverse radar when going into reverse gear? Wondered if you encountered this? Thx

Found some nice black trim bits on eBay cheap, don't see many in black. can finally get rid of that horrid sliver coloured gear trim and ashtray. Just have to try and wrap that trim on the doors around the handles etc.

But the factory usb fakra connection is connected to the headunit directly to it with a supplied fakra to headunit cable, surely this should enable the connection?
