Moving from 19" to 17" wheels - Coding?
Hi All, I've tried searching but struggled to find anything relevant, I'm looking to move from 19" wheels with 235/40 tyres to 17" wheels with 215/55 tyres on my Superb TDI190 L&K. It looks like there is a tiny difference in overall circumference that will mean the speedo is slightly over reading. Is there any coding that should be done to account for this?

Leakey DCC dampers - How bad does it have to be before replacing?
OK, sounds like step one is to get it into a garage who can confirm they need replacing. I've got a local friendly place (same place that did the MOT test) or the local Skoda service centre, I'm in two minds which to use. If I go to the Skoda centre I suspect there is a much higher likely hood they will say "replace".

Leakey DCC dampers - How bad does it have to be before replacing?
So, not unexpectedly, it looks like the front DCC dampers on my 2019 L&K have started to leak. It was MOTed last week and the tester didn't think it was bad enough to warranty an advisory. I have a 3rd party extended warranty on the car for the next 12 months, any thoughts on how bad the leaking has to be before they will replace them? or is it going to be very subjective and depend on the garage I take it to? I've got some photos but can't seem to upload them at the moment.

Question about Skoda ADAS
I've had the "brake" alert on the dashboard a couple of times, most recently on the motorway when the car in front slammed on the brakes (full emergency breaking from 70mph, indicators flashing etc for no apparent reason). There was a LOUD beep and the warning but I was already covering the pedal so I braked rather than the car. I've had a couple of low speed parking manevour instances where it seems a bit sensitive but notthing terrible.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
First MOT for my 2019 Superb since I bought it in my, just over 70,000 miles and it sailed through with no problems. The front dampers are leaking but the MOT tester said it wasn't enought to warrant an advisory. Still given I've got an extended warranty for another 12 months it's on my list to get replaced.

"OEM+" suspension upgrades? Looking at buying an MY21 Superb B8
I'm another L&K owner that would love the DCC slider mod!

What have you done to your Superb III today?
It's a really odd failure, I've seen faulty dampers or top mounts cause uneven wear but normally you'd see that all around the tyre, not just in one place. It can just effect one tyre though.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
@cnc that's a worrying wear pattern, it suggests there might be a damper or top mount issue. If that's not resolved you'll likely see the same again in new tyres. Was it like that on just one tyre or both sides?

Google Maps ETA and Distance remaining on Dashboard
For clarity when using Google Maps via Android Auto, is that appearing on the dashboard? on my car (admittedly and older model, 2020 with a MIB2 high) if I use Google Maps it won't show on the virtual dashboard, only the built-in navigation will show up there.

2020 L&K Superb
If you hold down the MENU button for about 5-10s it will enter service mode and you can see the version and type there. There's a pinned thread in at the top of the forum where you can match up the version number with the MIB type. It sounds like it might be a MIB 3 though. 17" wheels is good, I agree entirely, prefer the better ride. Interesting that it's on 17" though, I thought all the L&K's had 18" as standard, maybe it's a hybrid thing.

2020 L&K Superb
Sounds similar to my car, a September 2019 L&K . Its a facelift model ( blind spot warning in the wing mirror etc) but has the earlier steering wheel. My car has ACC but doesn't have lane assist, just some of the oddities of the change over. I suspect you'll have the MIB 2.5 head unit as well which is a good thing. Check in the glovebox to see if there's and SD card and DVD slot. I'm pretty happy with mine, its a 190 TDI. One other thing to check, is it on 18 or 19" wheels. I'm on 19s and whilst they do look nice they don't help the ride comfort.
- The last straw??

Allseason tires for Superb facelift 2.0 tdi
No all-season tyre is going to be as good as a dedicated summer tyre, might be worth watching this video as alongside the CrossClimate 3, Michelin are introducing a CrossClimate 3 Sport which seems to address any handling concerns. TBH, and sorry to all the Sportline owners out there, a Skoda Superb is not and never will be a sports cars without extensive modifications. It's an excellent large estate car and I drive mine as such, my priority with tyres is cold and wet weather grip, as whilst I don't hang about I don't push it beyond the limits even in the dry.

Allseason tires for Superb facelift 2.0 tdi
I ran Michelin CrossClimate 2's on my previous car (Honda Accord, 16" wheels) for years. They are a great all round tyre, I used to have a dedicated set of Winter tyres but in the UK it just wasn't worth it. Once the current tyres on my Superb wear out I'll definitely go the same route, all be it with the Cross Climate 3's. The only thing I need to decide is if I stick with the 19" alloys the car has it switch to 18" for slightly more tyre profile and cheaper tyres.

Looking to buy and hoping for a little help
It's changed over the years but broadly speaking the L&K has the following on top of Sportline Dynamic chassis control, those adaptive dampers Electrically adjustable front seats Heated rear seats (I think both models have heated front seats) Canton sound system, more speakers and a subwoofer Rear-view parking camera Heated windscreen Virtual pedal, open the boot without the key Park assist I think that's the main differences. I think the Sportline has different, sportier, suspension as standard. That 2016 looks in decent condition, the price seems reasonable as well. It's got the 190 TDI engine (there are two specs) so is the slightly quicker model if that makes any difference.
