What was wrong with it?

So for those that are interested, 2 weeks in and 1200 miles I can happily report that the car is superb. The Wife is very happy with the vRS. Super quiet and very comfortable. Given the drop in temps over the last couple of weeks, the car is giving roughly 250 miles in range. Not bad for an 85kw battery and a car that's just over 2200 kilos. Only niggle is regards to not being able to hang up a car using the steering wheel controls. Road noise is minimal even on the massive 21s. I took the wheel trims off the other day to wash the car and the alloys underneath are pretty nice however the massive drum brake on the rear isn't. I must say though, I felt a little better when I say an Audi Q4 with the same said drum brake at the rear. I'd also like to see more options to customise the instrument cluster, it's a bit bland. The HUD is really good especially when using the built-in sat nav however Waze doesn't project onto the HUD. Overall a great car up to now. The Wife has decided that she'll use Eco on a long run and Individual on shorter journeys. The suspension on Normal is quite floaty (if you like that kind of thing) so we've chosen the Sport setting for the dampers in Individual and everything else in normal apart from the steering which we have in Sport. Tip for those when you collect, check your tyre pressures, ours were all over the place.

So I tried to solve this this morning. If you press the right hand scroll button on the steering wheel you can answer a call however, it does not allow you to end the call so you'll have to wait for the person at the other end to hang up!

Is there any way of answering and ending a call using the steering wheel buttons and if so which one?

One thing I found useful is that your can 'sync' the 2 front seats so they are perfectly aligned (not sure if you need the Maxx pack and seat memory for it to work). I'd have bought the car just for that!

End of June I've just been told. Skoda had just released the leasing prices the morning we ordered. It was very much a build car with every option ticked bar the dog guard and tow bar.

August, I think. I've just sent the Wife a message to ask (it's her car).

Polestar 4 is considerably more expensive than the Elroq and the rear view mirror made my eyes hurt when we drove it. Our Elroq took a week to arrive at the dealership after build was completed. Maybe we just got lucky and caught a ship in time.

Ideally you'd want maxx pack, winter pack and heat pump.

Can't report much on the battery on the vRS as we've only just collected it however we handed back our Tesla M3 after 4 years and 70k miles and it had only lost 30 miles in range. Our new vRS is giving roughly 3.1 miles/KWh but the car is still learning our driving style. We charged it up last night and a full charge is showing as giving 329miles. WRT to quality, the interior on the vRS is lovely. Lots of alcantara and the seats are super comfy. Ride quality is excellent however when the car is initially turned on it starts in ECO mode which makes the throttle not so responsive and the suspension quite wallowy. We have now set Individual mode to Sport on the suspension, Sport on the drive train and normal on the steering and this makes the car sublime to drive. To compare electric to petrol to diesel depends on where you charge it. If you charge at home the cost is significantly cheaper than dinosaur juice. Out and about is another matter with some energy suppliers charging an extortionate amount to charge up. If it's a company car then who cares? Just expense the costs and you'll brag to your mates in the pub that the car only costs you £20 a month BIK. We love the car. It's our first Skoda and I can say I'm very impressed by the build quality and functionality (we have 3 other cars in our household, Hyundai, Kia and Porsche). The Skoda app isn't quite as good as Tesla's but they are pretty much in a league of their own but the Skoda has old skool buttons that are great. The ADAS systems are a PITA but there is a shortcut physical button that takes you to the ADAS page and you untick 2 boxes and the systems are off. Hope it helps a little.

It’s the only colour, apart from the green, that we felt went with the green piping on the interior. If a different coloured interior was available we’d have gone for that and then had red as the exterior colour.

Hello All First time poster and first time Skoda owner (well it's my wife's car). Picking up an Elroq VRS in Meteor Grey, 21 inch Vision alloys, heat pump, Winter pack and Maxx Pack next week. Any hints and tips would be greatly appreciated.
