Lane assist is just that, it keeps you from going over the line however, IIRC, if you're using ACC then it will keep you in lane. Personally I turn off most of the nanny devices as they drive me nuts

So we charged our VRs up to 100% at home yesterday and the range is sat on 300. I know it'll drop if the ac is turned on but it's nice enough to crack a widow just a little.

I've no idea what the paddles do either so I just leave them alone and just drive in 'B' for max regen.

As already mentioned, check your tyre pressures when you get home. Before you leave the dealership, check for any damage to bodywork or interior trim. Take someone with you that can go over the car whilst you're doing the paperwork. The excitement of collecting a new car can give you rose tinted glasses so let someone else check it. Also be sure to check under the car as well especially side sills (rocker panels) for damage.

Just turn off the battery management option. It doesn't really do anything apart from limiting your ability to charge to 100%. As mentioned, Skoda, or VW for that matter, cannot invalidte your warranty because you charge to 100%.

Just charge it to 100%. We nuke ours each time to max and we are currently seeing 284 miles range on a full charge. For clarity, ours is a company car so if the battery is toast after 4 years it's not our problem however, our previous car (Tesla M3) we always charged to full and in 4 years and almost 70k miles it only lost about 10 miles in range.

Crikey, at that rate it'll take you a week to charge the car. I take it you're waiting for the 7KWh wall charger to be installed? If not then you should get one or charge it at a public charging site.

They adjust the regen but I've yet to figure out how. I just put ours in B and let the car do the rest.

You should have rejected the car and got them to order you another.

We charged it yesterday adding 39kwh and it took 12hrs 51mins. It was also charged on the 23rd adding 61 kwh and took 10hrs 13 mins.

I'm in the Manchester area. If the car is plugged in then it is preconditioned when cold. If it isn't then I don't precondition it.

Shows anything from 3kwh to 3.4kwh on the dash depending on the driving situation. The car is pretty much driven down to 60 miles in range before charging up to 100% mainly at home on a 7kwh charger however when needs must it's charged using public charging. Not sure what you mean by not that cold. We've had the car since October '25 so have only driven during the Autumn/Winter months. Short trips using the cabin pre-heat and heated windscreen will also reduce the battery range obviously.

Just to give an update on the mileage. We are now at 5000 miles and 3 months of ownership and when the battery is fully charged it shows ~240 mile range. Admittedly we are in the depths of winter and short days so the likes of heated seats, steering wheel, cab heater, headlights etc are on pretty much all the time so I'm hoping the range will improve once the weather does. We also run in individual mode so sport suspension and steering as the normal suspension is too wallowy imo. I suppose if you drive in Eco you could attain 300 miles from 100% battery. One thing we have found though is that the Elroq will charge very quickly when charging from a Tesla super charger... and yes you can use them by downloading the Tesla app (if you want more info as to how to do it let me know). The battery charged from 10% to 100% in 35 mins. It is a bit of a PITA when charging with Tesla as you'll need to straddle 2 bays so think and choose wisely when using them. The Tesla app will also tell you which super chargers will accept none Teslas. There are some parts of the infotainment I'd like to see improved on such as changing from one primary phone to another and hanging up from a call (we found you can answer by pressing the right scroll button on the steering wheel) and the comfort access is a pain the the backside but apart from that the car is great.

If the car is rear wheel drive then the wider tyres are to provide more traction. There's a pretty good chance that if you put wider tyres on the front you'll suffer with tyre rub on the wheel arches. You'll also need to notify your insurance that you've changed the standard tyre size.

The link you've posted is for a space saver wheel and tyre. Even though this is available in an 18 inche size the offset will allow for clearance of brake discs/calipers/drums whereas the alloy wheels may not. Looking at the Skoda accessories catalogue, winters aren't available in 18 inches anyway unless you go after market. IMO you have 3 options Buy a set of winter wheels and tyres and swap them over when needed Buy a set of winter tyres for your current set of alloys and change them over each year Buy a set of all season tyres which will get you decent all round motoring here in the UK however, if you're planning on going into Europe during the winter, several countries require you to change to a full winter tyre.

Nope. Ours doesn't do that. If you're not happy with the diagnosis of your dealership then go to another for a second opinion or ask your service guy to go to another Elroq and see if that one does it.

Our VRS has auto full beam as standard. Just push forwards on the 'flash' stalk and the 'Auto' sign comes on. Works great. Can't believe you have to pay for it though.

Just ask your dealership for the name of the vessel and you can search and follow it's journey. If you live in the South then most vehicles will be delivered to Sheerness. In the North it's Grimsby. Unfortunately once it's in the country you are in the hands of the logistics company and there isn't any tracking available for that. Dealerships usually get notification of delivery a couple of days before it arrives. Something to bear in mind is that car transporters will not leave unless they are full and only with deliveries to multiple dealerships in that particular area, it's not logistically viable to have a transporter travelling all over the country dropping 1 car off at a time. What was wrong with it?

So for those that are interested, 2 weeks in and 1200 miles I can happily report that the car is superb. The Wife is very happy with the vRS. Super quiet and very comfortable. Given the drop in temps over the last couple of weeks, the car is giving roughly 250 miles in range. Not bad for an 85kw battery and a car that's just over 2200 kilos. Only niggle is regards to not being able to hang up a car using the steering wheel controls. Road noise is minimal even on the massive 21s. I took the wheel trims off the other day to wash the car and the alloys underneath are pretty nice however the massive drum brake on the rear isn't. I must say though, I felt a little better when I say an Audi Q4 with the same said drum brake at the rear. I'd also like to see more options to customise the instrument cluster, it's a bit bland. The HUD is really good especially when using the built-in sat nav however Waze doesn't project onto the HUD. Overall a great car up to now. The Wife has decided that she'll use Eco on a long run and Individual on shorter journeys. The suspension on Normal is quite floaty (if you like that kind of thing) so we've chosen the Sport setting for the dampers in Individual and everything else in normal apart from the steering which we have in Sport. Tip for those when you collect, check your tyre pressures, ours were all over the place.
