  1. Ordered my Fabia 1.2 TSI 105 DSG Elegance Estate in Artic Green on 17 July. The dealer was in contact today to say that build week is still 44. They have been saying that for the last 6 weeks so it appears that Skoda are not falling any further behind. So hopefully I should get it late Nov early Dec

  3. I would never consider a built in Sat Nav. I have used Tom Tom for a number of years and although they have taken a lot of flack lately I am still happy with my one. There is a dedicated forum for Tom Tom My link Speed cams can be updated from the Pocket GPS site for a very small subscription. My link They also have a lot of Point of Interests which can be downloaded for free. If you do go for a Tom Tom don’t buy the new 1000 model as speed cams and POI’s can not be added from 3rd party sites Hope that helps Sorry, Just noticed you are in Norway. So forget what I said about Pocket GPS
  4. I had the Supaguard treatment on my Octavia when I purchased it about 2.5 yrs ago and must say I was very disappointed with it. I wont be having it applied when I take delivery of my Fabia when it arrives
  5. I should have also mentioned the grease I use molyslip graphite and put some on the cente boss as well Another good buy is an extending wheel brace, the ones supplied with any made of car are next to useless One supplier is My link but most good Auto Shops will stock them
  6. Check the wheel bolts that they have not been over tightened. I had a Ford many years ago and had a puncture even Kwik Fit when I called them out had problems getting the bolts undone. The car was only 1 year old at the time, no sign of rust on the bolts they must have been over tightened on the assembly line I now check the bolts as soon as I can when getting a new car. Not something to find out on a cold rainy night.

  8. Ordered 1.2 DSG Elegance Estate 16 July Latest information I have is that the build date is mid Nov
  9. I am soon, well when it gets delivered, downsizeing from a Octavia diesel to a Fabia Elegance Estate DSG. So I have been reading the comments regarding fuel with great interest . I have to say that I have never touch wood had problems with Tesco diesel. So going back to petrol after having Skoda oil burners for many years is going the be a novel experience. I did a search on Tesco and cam up with there Momentum 99 site My link which has some interesting information on it including a report from Thorney Motor Sport John
  10. That may explain why delivery of my Fabia Elegance Estate 1.2 TSI DSG which I was told would be delivered end Sept is now scheduled for Nov. Or would it ??
