  1. Reinforced cutch fork repainted in racing red paired with Sachs performance release bearing
  2. And gearbox finally fine painted and assembled-ready to rock'n roll in the summerrrr🎶🎶🎶🎶
  3. Pay attention to fine precission tools and protein drink
  4. OEM LSD shims are 68mm outer diameter same as for the output shaft roller bearings but wider. We measured using dial gauge and reworked two new LSD ones 1,15 and 1,20mm and tried both, and went for thicker one 1,20mm. Great Job using some common sense without waiting monney.
  5. We succesfully measured with dial gauge required shims for the LSD, and input and output shaft roller bearings. Today we will assembly whole gearbox to check if everything is fine and dismantle it again for housing new painting in same colour but with industrial paint which is more resistant and durable.
  6. Those shims from Luk installation manual were for 02J, but my isn't any more. My gearbox is now 02S so I went to Porsche desler and took all the thickness numbers. Replaced previous 0,8mm for 0,85mm for LSD, now left are input and output Shaft roller bearings shims
  7. That's best wish You can think of. But for 4x4 I have to čut floorm9f the trunke for different reservpir etc-to much od a hussle. Guy eho did my gesrboh in Čačak Serbia did it on his estste-bb it evwry turn of the steering wheel there is strange Boise im the back. But for fast start it is a must. Now I can spin my tires in place even With my semislick until 3rd gear!!!
  8. I have it for almost 10 years and no it's not louder
  9. Getting ready for assembly. Just today realised I have all factory shims for LSD,but input and output Shaft roller bearings shimssre missing. Leftand right Ines on the picture
  10. Can't wait to put all that together and to eat for breakfast new Golf GTI,R, and others
  11. SPEC steel single mass flywheel SV21F completelly redone-ring gear zeroed first, new surface for friction plate and step height from ring gear to resurfaced contact surface for friction plate set back again to factory SPEC of 12,09mm. Perfect Job done. Now that might be a problem because they make difference in selling SMF for SPEC and Sachs pressure plate. Most od them use 12,4 or 12,5mm step for Sachs. We Will first pressure test it and measure with comparator when it disengages-how many mm. Maybe we get lucky or maybe we will have to resurface again to get higher step. As always commitment to details is important!
  12. Housing sand blasted and ready for repainting
  13. New OEM bearings and Sachs performance release bearing
  14. New Sachs performancea pressurre plate and organic friction disc
  15. Ready for further stripping od the old paint and primer
  16. Started stripping old paint and primer for renewal. Now when housing is disassembled fully will continue with further stripping
  17. Due to the vibrations and rpm increase while vibrating during throttle I remowed gearbox and clutch-time for new SPECSV363F STAGE 3+, flywheel resurface and gearbox overhaul while taken of. Clutch has more than 10y and gearbox has been last time serviced 2013 when changing also 1st and 2nd for custom ones as 3-6 already were. More detailed update to come, espetially how to resurface flywheel in proper way-meaning friction plate surface together with ring gear to pressure plate surface, and not only friction plate contact surface as my custom gearbox mechanic did than. Now I gattered exact proportions-height of both surfaces from factory so I can exactly replicate it.
  18. Just got my Smart 451 headlights finally done, and all the black parts on the side and above rear window painted in white together with real carbon front spoiler. Top! That's also heavy moddified car to. More to come-145-180hp!!!
  19. Yes,thanks nam. Still left to grind a little cylinder coil 4 to stay in Line With other coils, and to Mount back tfsi wire plastic cover so they are not so ugly exposed. But yesss I Like it more and more With time pass. Definitelly my choice of engine bay With all the respect to all other tastes
  20. After New Spar plugs NGK BKR7EIX-11 IRIDIUM I still fit misfires on cylinder 1 and 2. Now Just Got New Bosch coil plugs for Audi R8 latest revision 06E 905 115 G Didn't drive much but for now it seems problem solved. Will test more in upcoming dys to be sure. Hope that's iz. Badger5 reccomends that coil also.
  21. I have forge front Mount intercoolers sitting in in my garage because I went other way-water cooling. PM if interested. Plug and play. What part number are yours NGK?
  22. You're most welcome. Mine works perfect. Had two issues-misfire on cylinder 3. I bought used Okada plasma Projecta coils from NZ and that one burned out on highway-replaced them With old OEM ones, last revision-started throwing error again a week or two ago. Replaced Denso IK20TT (from 3.2019) for NGK IRIDIUM BKR7EIX-11 gaped from 1,1mm to 0,75 as bdger5 suggests. But it wasn't that. We couldn't unbolt sprk on cylinder 3...some small plastic bits from burned coil were left. Now flawles-no error. I even ordered OEM R8 coil adapterd and looked around for R8 coil 06E 995 115 G-latest revission. Now i hawe only left to correct wheel hoops s on beggining-probably my rear dogbone mount is gone-has more than 10 years of abuse. So I ordered Superpro one from uk to pair it with front superpro one-best design on market compared to others which deform due to the poor design. Ofcourse all new bolts are ready. Let me know when you're comming. Right now preparing for the snow my CRVRD1-rear diff clutches upgrade from racing diff -moldbenum With 300% more clamp fotce and dual pump quick Spool kit to engage rear wheels much sooner and faster-so it can pass ramp test easilly. Never bored over here
