They will be held on with double sided tape. Pull them off slowly and remove any sticky bits with you fingernails. Dont use a scraper or knife!!! I removed any excess sticky bits with a UPVC cleaner a some white roll. When I replaced my plates I screwed them on as I found the tape that I had was useless!! When drilling make sure to drill from the back with it firmly on a piece of flat wood or you wil split the plastic. Good luck!!

I had my car vandalised in February. Every panel was "keyed" and fluid thrown over it.The estimate for a total strip and respray was over £4500!! The actual cost was about £4200. I have my own ideas as to who did it but the police were not interested in approaching the person for over three days, so any evidence was lost. Moral of the story.......................DONT lend friends money. Least of all........Dont have the cheek to ask for it back if you want your pride and joy in one piece!!

I have updated iphone 3gs to OS4.1 and have now got my address book back in the multi function display. I have a 2008 Octavia with the bluetooth kit that VRStu was selling a while ago. It did not work straight away but after going out in the car a couple of times it "appeared on the MFD"

Hi Same problems as you I have a Harman Becker bluetooth kit supplied by VRStu and worked fine with various phones. Got iPhone 3Gs version 3.1.3 and was OK Updated to OS4 and lost contact details. Updated again to OS4.0.1 (itunes) and still the same Deleted pairing and re paired. Still wont read address book Removed bluetooth unit fron car power supply and re installed Still no good Went to 02 shop and they havent a clue so I am stuck with it for another 21 months unless someone knows a way round it!!!!! As for your other problem I had similar in that the phone menus jumped and the wipers would wipe on their own without rain as I have auto wipers Took it to main dealers and they repalced stalk. Go to your main dealer and get 1Ltr Windscreen Clear part no G 052 164 M2. It is around £3.40 per litre!!! If used neat it will go to -70c Mix one bottle to 2 parts water and it will go to -16c It seems dear but it is good stuff and as you have an Octy with spray jets it is recommended that you use it or you will "invalidate your warranty" if the jets block up using cheap stuff!!

Nathanio- No dont rev the nuts like I used to the VRS and using DSG you can't. Bu--er the mpg I think I will just re-map the TDI and have some fun as well as comfort!!!!!!

I had a vrs tfsi which was remapped (Angel Tuning) to 240 bhp. It returned 35+ per gallon and went like stink.This was not driving like a pussy and was both around town and motorway driving. I had it 14 weeks and my wife couldnt handle "the animal" I then changed it for an l&k 2.0tdi DSG and i am only averaging 38/39mpg. Considering the extra money for diesel I think I made a mistake although the l&k is a more comfotable car and I have "lost" 100bhp!!!

No problem with VRS. I fitted one in my ex MKII VRS estate. Five minute job You will get a bag with 2 metal plates and pop rivets to be fitted at the end of the side supports. I put them away in a drawer indoors (not really needed)
