  1. So i went to see it and........................................ didnt get it! The price they where offering as a part ex was crap And the monthly price they offered my was over £100 more a month then im paying now. Oh well im still happy with my red one, didnt think anything would be as fun to drive as the Clio Cup i had but the Fabia vRS beats it hands down and of corse its not French Thanks for all your feed back
  2. Yes mate it is the Baz one it was sent to the Gillingham Garage for a customer then they didnt want it so its gone back to the Baz garage. Have had my Red one for just over the month now so cant take it back :(. The next nearest yellow vrs i can find (apart from the one at the Baz garge) is 137 miles away. Also my red one now has a new problem. Is eating head light bulbs! I have had the car for just over a month now and have already put 4 new headlight bulbs on it and driving home form work last night one went again! Thanks everyone for your feedback, thanks for your time
  3. Hi to anyone thats reading this I just wanted to see what people think about the postion im in. I curently have a 55 plate RED Fabia vrs (only had it for a month) it cost me £7995 (45k miles on clock). I really wanted a yellow one at the time. Im well happy with it, BUT when i was looking at buying a vrs (about a month back) i noticed a yellow one with the rally sticks on it, i loved it (as im a hug rally fan) but it was gone off the Skoda website before i had time to look at it.:( But my Skoda centre called me saying its back in (it was sent to Gillingham where it wasnt sold). Its an 07 plate with 6.5k on clock in yellow with the CRT stickers on it. Its up for £10,000. Im going to look at it Saturdy. I pay £170 per month at the mo and dont wan to pay much more but think i may need new shocks on my current vrs soon. So what to do?? I would like your feedback.
  4. Hi all. I work for the Ambulance service and we are thinking of getting Oct's. As above HEMS London Air Ambulance curently have 4 bule emergency Oct's. They where 2 where donated by Skoda Preston motors and the other 2 by SP Services (a medical equipment supplyer). They have now got rid of the Impreza's/ Its good for Skoda's image that one of the top Air Ambulance's in England have now switched to Skoda's. And i love my Fabia vRS so i would love it if we got vRS responce cars too. :P
  5. The brake light and the cup holder look the nuts. Think i will be adding the cup holder.
  6. Think we should do our own run. Scooby owns can be abit rude if your not in a car that has fake WRC stickers all over it and not on daddies insurence. But major resepct for people who have a prodive STI (but no respect for the prats that put a STI and prodrive stick on there when its not). Not that i dont like scoobys that is. So how many people are intrested in a London run?
  7. Well im new to the whole Skoda thing. :P Only picked up my vRS two weeks before Christmas. I would be happy to supply a rote if you want to do the advertising front (dont know many pople from the site at the moment, or who own a Skoda). Lakside Shopping centre is always a good place to start as its just of the M25 (last junction, well sign posted). Cant see why VDubs should be exluded the more the better i think Saturday nights are always good, no C charge for one thing! Feb would be a good time
  8. I live in Barking (ESSEX/ LONDON) Tunnal runs are the NUTS! I did a few in my BMW. As long as you avoide the Limehouse link tunnal (due to it being a 30 zone with 3 ******* cammers in it). I would be up for a London meet and starting a Lakeside is a good idea as its very easy to get to. A good land mark!
  9. Hi im thinking of changing my stock cd player for a double din unit, just wanted to know how easy they are to fit? Or is it worth paying a audio speacilist to fit it? I have a budget of about £300 for a double din unit. Any ideas on good ones for that price?
  10. Welcome. I love my Fabia vRS im sure your love yours
  11. :thumbup:Have had a copper pull me over for a spot check. He was in a Oct vRs. After seeing that my Fabia was all ok he started to have a convo about how good the vRS's where and what my Fabia vRS was like to drive. Very nice copper
  12. I got a friend to have a look at it how knows a thing or two about cars (hes worked for Ford,MG and Honda). He said it was the Tubo spooling. I dont know much about cars under the bonnet but i thought if it was that i would only get that noise on acleration. But the noise starts at 30 and gets louder with speed and quiter when i slow down. The nosie stays there till i go under 30. :( It only just had a service at Trans City Skoda in E17 (London), so not sure if i should take it back
  13. Hi im looking for some Oct alloys for my Fabia vRS. If anyones got any for sale or knows anyone that has please PM me. Thanks These are the ones im looking for
  14. I have heard this sound coming from my Fabia vRs too. Its a 55 plate 43,000 miles. I have never owned a diesel before so i thought it was just the engine sound. After reading this im abit worried now. I got it from a Skoda dealer and they said they gave it a full service.:( Not sure if i should get an inderpendant delar to have a look
  15. :confused:Strange how a wide body kit aways seems to make a car look at least half good. Its a strange car but looks good at the same time!
  16. Welcome Just got my Fabia vRS too. Its the nuts
  17. Hi i have a Fabia too, but cant say i have had any probs like that. Glad to see that some of them are getting sorted.
  18. Welcome. Merry Xmas and a happy new year to you
  19. Hi Welcome I pick up my Faiba vRS on Saturday too. Cant wait to get behind the wheel. I had a BMW Z3 before and heard so many good things about the Skoda vRs family i had to get one. Good luck with you Oct
  20. Thanks mate it is good to be back driving. My vrs is red. Did want a yellow one but so had to find near me (London), but im happy with red.
  21. hi to everyone I have recently just got my driving licence back from the DVLA after giving it up for a year. The story was:- I was driving home from work in my Z3 when some prat pull out on me, i slamed the brakes and the 28 tonn mobile crane that was behind me didnt. It hit me from behind knocking me across two lanes of rush hour traffic. I was cut out the car by LFB and London Air Ambulance and spent a month in the Royal London Hospital on a Neuro ward after having fits. Lost all feeling in my left side. After the crash and the fits doctors said i had to give my driving licence up and ask for it back after being fit free for a year. A year past and i now im fit to drive again. I wanted my first car back to be something specail. I read the reviews on the Fabia vRS and feel in love with it. I have always liked Audi's and VDubs so why not. I brought my vRS Saturday after spending a month looking for one (so dam rare used). I found one in London from a skoda delership and am picking it up this Saturday (15th Dec 07) and i cant wait. Love the site and hope to make some mates
