In my youth all our holidays were in a caravan but I've only towed one 20 yards (Moving my father's). My advice is to rent one and take a short UK trip before buying. If you are not going anywhere can't you tell the HMRC it isn't being used for personal travel, doesn't the tax then cease to be payable.

I had the heated screen, I don't think the heat reflection works that well, if at all. The car is a metal box and in the sun it will get hot, the aircon keeps it cool unless it is parked.

Red has always been the worst colour paint to have, may look good but wears badly.

Short drive in the Swiss Alps saw over 100 mpg, It was from Beatenberg to Interlaken (down a big hill). Regularly see 100 mpg for the first 3-4 miles from the office on the way home (Romsley to Halesowen is downhill) but these are not realistic. Most unexpected was 84mpg from Solihull (Just north of NEC) to Stafford. M6 in the rush hour with 50mph limits from joining to leaving the M6 and traffic flowing fairly well in a 2.0 diesel passat saloon. Now somewhere I have a photo showing an aggregate of 'Miles since fill' and 'range' of over 1000 miles. Anyone else achieved that?

I have a 2017 SEL Exec on lease and it is due to go back in April. The spec has changed since 2017 with some arrivals (Leather:-() and some departures (Electric Drivers seat :-() What should I be looking out for to make sure I don't lose out on something that is standard (and I may not have noticed) on the current car and isn't on the new one? Extras on current car were metallic paint, different 18 inch wheels, heated screen, rear wiper and spare wheel.
