What Mileage Do People Do On Average A Year?
Callum replied to bumface's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Done 21,000 miles since March and loving it! It's my company car! Have been all over the UK and Europe in it and has been brilliant. -

God damn it I don't go on Brisky for a few days and miss a set of LM's! Doh! I'm despo for a set! I think they are the balls! The little black furby just needs slamming and it would look all good! The LM's have gone have they?

No way! I never realised that lot was available!!
-
How noisy is it? Bet it sounds cool! Does it have a petrol turbo'ish sound to it now?
-

Tar muchly chaps, that is a quick response indeed! I believe my friend has been messed around by a couple of local firms, so it's good to get feedback from you guys cheers. Callum

Anyone know of a good VAG specialist in the Southampton area? A friend of mine lives down there and is struggling to find a decent place to take her car for some minor work. Cheers Callum

Wahay! That's my seats at the end with the green diamond, the colour looks abit weird on here, but they are awesome, couldn't recommend more! Go for Nappa, it's the balls, makes me smile everytime I get in! They do an awesome job and smells great!

I know what you mean about wheels being a pain in the *** to clean! My missis thinks I'm crazy the amount of time I spend cleaning my car! Always fancied a set of TT comps myself, still saving for the LM's though:thumbup:

Bit off subject but is that Ferrari real? Looks like a replica with a bodykit to me? Don't they nornally have bucket seats in them?

I went through that same process too, hence why I have a Fabia VRS now, and not a Golf GTI 1.8t Anniversay anymore:( -

All depends on the mileage you do I suppose, as Super unleaded is a lot cheaper than diesel, and if I wasn't doing such a big mileage I would be straight back on a petrol!! -

That wastegate noise sounds sweeeet! I want mine to sound like that! Guess I would need to be running that sort of power first though! -
Is it worth it? and how much to repair?
Callum replied to BIG4244's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
You do realise the car's in Northern Ireland?? Might cost a bit to get it home! -
How does it drive on the 18's?? I'm still undecided on going for a set.... Wheels look cool though

I got caught the other day as well, mine was not spaced correctly on the back and front, no company name on there, no BSA stamp and my front plate is smaller due to open mouth mod, the copper was alright about it, I pleaded ignorance and he gave me a £30 fine, even though I had broken about 6 different laws! Ha! I had been driving with it like that for a good 6 months though, they told me if they caught me twice again they would change my plate. The copper made a fair point that if the car was pinched, they would struggle to pick the number plates up by their squad cars and CCTV's, as whilst I was sat in the back of his car, it picked up every passing cars std plate, and dodgy spaced or smaller ones it didn't and flagged their attention...
