true, but u can: get in black + st alloys + st body kit = sexy -
Hello, Drove one the other day and was well impressed, it is very similar to the vrs: 134 bhp 0-60 in 9 with some punch, felt just like stock vrs Grp 10 51mpg Superb interior that shows good build quality Plenty of room its more like a saloon inside icing on the cake = remote central locking also closes any windows that are open (dont know what u call that lol) 05’s are going for 5k same as a VRS What do you think? A few questions: What are these tdci common rail engines like? Has anyone had or drove one of these remapped? whats it like? Also what figures?

ChipBoost remap for VRS
RallySport150 replied to RallySport150's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Ok wja96 I see your point it’s pretty obvious you don’t like chip boost based on a few questions from a website. As for everyone else there is a useful section on the site to gain more information than wja96 has, it’s called Contact Us. If anyone wants to go to the big boys that’s fine but I advise you to do a search on chipboost before you do like I did, look at what other people have said about them and not just someone who analyses a website. Hopefully other chipboosters will voice their opinion! -
After checking a few recommendations on here I went for a Chipboost remap, now here’s myn, I have been driving it for couple of weeks now and all I can say is that f’g goes, its like its on steroids! Took it to James at Binnington Wold, Scarborough, he did a diagnostic check first, made a back up copy of the original map and then added the remap which all took less than hour. I asked for a clutch friendly 170 BHP remap (he has a few to pick from), the power output is very smooth and mainly kicks in after 2k revs so u may not feel much in 1st/2nd but 3rd, now were talking! As for MPG, it’s gone up slightly, +5 mpg over a 25 mile motorway drive. He does his own maps and really knows his stuff, he can also set up maps to your liking from your ECU and I think he’s been doing them for 5 years now. Before getting a remap I would recommend that you read up on everything and understand the process and what it does and also be prepared to fix/buy any parts just in case something goes wrong, because remember your car is not standard any more, it now has a pair of balls. Cost? Just £200, Here’s a link to his site: www.chipboost.com, he does tractors too lol Get it remapped, you’ll be driving it like you’ve nicked it! (btw thats a joke dont take it literally)

Some good cars here, i guess the ultimate would be the 330d but it will cost more, next would be the A3 as its at the top of the VAG group for quality + 4WD and then the LEON as its the cheapest out of the 3. I prefer the old LEON's styling to new one so it would be the 150 If I’m not bothered about practicality = 123d coupe, don’t like the hatchbacks style Don’t like the styling of the Octy VRS PD 170
