  1. And there was me thinking I could get them to skin their knuckles instead of mine!
  2. Aah, I see what you mean now. Makes sense. Sorry Colin. Anyone with projector headlights have any feedback? Thanks Chris
  3. Does that mean projector lights don't benefit from a bulb upgrade then?
  4. I don't know if they are still doing it, but Staples have been selling a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro 1505 for
  5. I noticed you were on a bit of a charge Mr Garner! Nice one:thumbup:
  6. Panda: Welcome to Briskoda. Emily: You're famous, or should that be infamous (or notorious)!?!
  7. Welcome To Briskoda :wavey: , from another Superb owner. Don't forget to keep a close watch on the Superb section. Chris
  8. Yes, I see you frequent Detailing World. I often lurk there, with a mixture of jealousy, awe and embarassment!
  9. Nice one Mr Skodaw. Glad things are starting to work out for you again. As has been said, it will take the pressure off, and enable you to plan things in a more measured way. Might also be a good way for you to practice your 'art' before going for it full-time?
  10. Hi, and welcome to Briskoda. New Fabia is being unveiled officially at Geneva in March, and will go on sale in May. Front end almost identical to Roomster, much more rounded than the model it replaces. 22mm longer and 47mm taller. The 'design study' for the Superb 2 is also due to be unveiled there as well. All the Best Chris
  11. Thanks Rotodiesel:thumbup: I'll check it out when I'm off work. Cheers Chris
  12. The guv'nor at my local dealer mentioned about this two section hatch to me a while ago. Sounds an interesting concept, in theory. I guess we will have to wait for Geneva for a confirmation of how the Superb 2 will look.
  13. Thanks Rotodiesel. I have a look at both units over Xmas. Just in case I have misunderstood you: Are you saying it is possible to adapt the unit to the same connections as offside unit, or are you saying that the nearside unit has to be wired to the offside unit? Sorry, I'm not trying to sound thick, honest. All the Best Chris
  14. Hi I'm not sure if I have lost the plot but here goes: I thought both rear foglights worked when I first had the car, but now I am starting to doubt myself. Anyway, noticed a little while ago that the nearside one wasn't working. This lunchtime, I went to Halfords and picked up a new bulb, which is a twin filament jobbie. Put the bulb in, tail light bit works, as it did with the old bulb, but foglight still doesn't work.:( So really the question is, are both rear foglights operational 'out of the box' or is a twiddle with the settings scenario? Thanks Chris
  15. Won't be long at that rate. Everytime I think I am finally going to move up to 10th, my production rate slows down!
  16. I noticed in another thread Kentish mention Comodo Firewall. I recently read a good review of Comodo. I have always used Zone Alarm, but wondered how many people use Comodo, and how they find it? Thanks Chris
  17. Doesn't matter, both sites showing the same total.
  18. Superb 2 is a definite. I think someone recently found a picture. It will be based on the same platform as the Audi A6, whereas the new Passat uses a Golf platform. IIRC, it will be a hatch rather than saloon, and could be out late 2007/ early 2008. Someone else might have more details. All the Best Chris
  19. Don't Panic Mr C. According to the results on Stanfords own site, there is 1506 points that have not yet appeared on Extreme's tables. EDIT: 5 units now showing on Extreme, 1506 total credited All the Best Chris
  20. Works really well after their Super Resin Polish. Need to apply it thinly though, with very little pressure, or it will be very dusty to buff off. Seems to work best if you can leave it to cure for an hour before buffing off. From what some on Detailing World have said, it also benefits from another coat around 24 hours later. All the Best Chris
  21. Hi John Welcome to Club Superb. I've not tried an MP3 CD in my autochanger, so would be interested in the answer myself. Happy motoring! All the Best Chris
  22. Manny, you are doing a great job! I am in the same boat as you, where I cannot use any more machines than I am. I have to keep many of them back at 50% so as not interfere with peoples work. A look at the top producers list on Extreme often shows the same names consistently. We have had quite a few new members recently, and many of them are doing really well. What we need is to get some of the inactive folders back up and running.
  23. I see that the trend line is now pointing up again. We still need more active folders to keep them at bay for as long as possible.
