Cheers Al, Payment sent late last night - so fingers crossed for a Saturday delivery mate. My mistake on the fittings - as always Stu did post all the details, top bloke that he is!!
Thanks again for a TOP JOB!!
-
Hi Al,
Just back from hols as discussed last week - so i'll get payment sorted ASAP.
Out of interest - do you supply fittings for drilled footplate - or any recommended sizes/details if not included.
Cheers.

Hey Guys - jumping back in the thread. I like the look of the dual chrome dial rings Makefish. That's the look i'm aiming for veru nice indeeds chaps.
...so Mr McKelvie rightly asks - assuming we get the bits, can this all be done in situ?
-
Thanks Stu - i won't be bidding on this - just about to go on holiday for 10 days and won't be about for delivery. Is there a VW part number on there though that we could get a quote on - or has this been tried and found to be a rip-off?
-
OK - fair enough - i assume thats what Stu has done - patient man!
I see awesome GTI offer some rather bling Alu dial options now.
I don't think they are the way forward.
Thanks for the info Bosnjo
-
Thanks Bosnjo - i think that looks ace. I have the outer chromes already - just hadn't gone to the lengths to get these from a VW and retro-fit. Is that the deal? Where did you source your new parts?
-
Stu - does it look too much with the outer chrome rings fitted at the same time - or haven't you tried? I really like it though - looking forward to the details on where the bits are from.
-
Can i feel a group buy coming on?
-
ok then - where did you blag them smart-***!!!
Very nice mate.
-
Cheers Stu - can you check with Al on the option for the right hand side foot rest (mostly used if you have cruise control). Not sure if they are in demand in Golf GTi land or not, but i'd be interested in one to finish off the look.
Thanks for your efforts on this.

Cheers Mannyo.
One thing i was after was the vRS handle detail strips in stainless steel.
Anyone found another source for these items?
Skoda Octavia II - seat handle RS badge : Skoda Tuning = superskoda.com

Anyone use these guys much? Some useful parts and mods on there - but the postage is crippling on pretty much any item - large or small.
Anyone fund a similar range of parts from a UK based firm? Suggestions welcome, group buys or whatever?
Thanks.
-
Thanks for your feedback Les - this was the first mod i opted for - so simple yet effective!! Chrome additions look classy and superb. I'm very interested in moving on to the bluetooth and MFD upgrade options too.
-
Thanks Makefish. Looks comprehensive enough.... to be going on with!
Cheers,
Ste.

Hi All,
New to the forum and only 1500 miles onto my new Octavia vRS 2.0 TFSI. Looking to start adding mods when cash frees up and by some miracle maybe fuel gets cheaper? ;-)
Interior and exterior mod suggestions welcome....
Cheers,
Ste.

Hey dudes - i like the references to the Scottish roads - especially the Stirling straights (now with added roundabout) and the Loch Lomond road. I'm from that area - but now based in Yorkshire. Have you tried the road over the tops from Loch Lomond to Fast Lane naval base. Wicked stuff of smooth long corners and speed and ace visibility. Top Gear used it a few times as well.
Cheers.

Hi All,
My new vRS is breaking in nicely at 1500 miles..... and on the last 2 runs upto Scotland and back (mixture of A-road and motorway), i'm seeing 38mpg easily enough.
So when broken in properly and on cruise i reckon 40+mpg is possible for sure.
-
I used Broadspeed and found them helpful and the whole deal went through without a hitch. Carfile were good, but not quite as cheap with all the options i added.
-
Looks nice - what leads does it come with - wiring/grips for the battery terminals and/or cigarette lighter fitment?
Please advise.... i'll nip down and get one at lunchtime!
-
lol... not a bad idea on the phone number.... but other than that - seems no-one else has much to offer! Which is surprising for this forum!

I've been going through "Lifesure" who have always managed to get close to the best price on the comparison websites AND keep the excesses low and other benefits still included. Worth a try!

Hi Al - arrived this morning - perfect.... although it did take an eternity to peel off the masking tape!! lol! Amazing quality. Thanks again - very impressive!
To all - any ideas on insert materials to lay behind these babies, to help bring out the VRS - something that will be long lasting and robust?!?
