  1. Been searching but going to have to post. Its the common hose that splits under the inlet manifold which is wrapped together with another hose that goes to the T section. Can you buy that hose seperate because I tried to explain it to the steelers but need to make sure its the right one before I order it. Sure its called a vacuum hose of some sort. Thanks.
  2. Great meet and pictures guys, hopefully see you at the next one.
  3. My seats were slightly mucky and the more products and water I used the more it stained as the water dried. In the end I got some washing powder and rubbed it in since its a bit gritty, then with plenty of water wiped it with a cloth and got an old vac (use a wet n dry vac if you can get one) to try and suck some water up. Worked a treat!!
  4. Ive lost all faith, you've shown us what we should have done a few seasons ago, well done
  5. Thankyou for a quick reply. I think I understand it alot more now. Im a joiner and know the people who set company up pretty well. So if I do some work for other people I wont get chased to pay more NI etc , and ill want proof tax has been paid every week when I get paid. Will have the think about the track day, the Skoda may be going soon :'(
  6. Im getting confused about a matter. Ive recently applied to be self employed but will be mainly doing work for a certain company. Im waiting to get forms through to set up a direct debit to pay my NI each month but the company who I will be doing work for are insiting they will pay my tax at 20%. They want my UTR number which im still waiting for other wise I will be taxed 30% (although i agreed to backdate it when I get my UTR number). What im confused about is why are they paying my tax and not me, could I get taxed twice? Isit even possible for someone else to pay it? The company have only set up mid last year so I understand they dont want me as an employee incase they cant give me work, just seems a little strange to me.
  7. It tells you how to reset the service indicator in the owners manual (pg. 70 i think). Car looks clean and tidy to (just beaten to it )
  8. A little update. Ive waited a few days and it seems to connect straight away on startup. What I did was go into adaptor settings, advanced, then clicked wireless mode and changed the setting from IEEE 802.11b/g/n to IEEE 802.11b/g. Strange thing is my router is set up on Max N not mixed mode but it works so im not complaining although it shows just 54.0mbps not 150 mbps if it was on N but I can change the setting once connected and its fine untill I start up again.
  9. right it was playing up again after I got home so diagnosed again because it was getting limited access (but still not able to connect to internet), it came up with "wireless network connetion doesnt have a valid IP configuration" so plugged it into the router and had a look in the settings again. Couldnt change the DHCP/ didnt see how to. While it was plugged it it connected wirelessly straight away, for the time being Internet provider is Virgin Media not sure what you mean by bridged mode. Ive checked to make sure password is in lower case as is should.
  10. Was fine this morning but is playing up again now so will give it ago and see if it sorts it, thanks.
  11. I thought about gold wheels a while ago and after seeing that photoshop I think they look amazing, anyone else think that or have I to buy a scooby instead ha! (edit: even though its orange not gold). =-)
  12. Channel is set to Auto and device control is off. Its connected right now after its been turned off, so ill see how it goes in the morning. Security is WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES] Thanks for the advice so far!
  13. Just one other laptop (with a netgear stick), other laptop is dead but that was fine and dandy connecting with internal adaptor.
  14. As title, im having trouble connecting to the internet. Netbook is a Samsung N220 with windows 7 starter and the router is a Netgear WNR854t. Both devices are upto date with drivers etc. Now the netbook can see the network (full signal) but when I click connect it says itis unable to, however if I restart the router, bingo im connected and also if I connect to another network in range then disconnect, ill then be able to log into the Netgear network. This happens everytime I startup or its been in standby mode for a while. Now some of the time when I diagnose the fault it cant find any and says device is working properly but sometimes windows says its the W/adaptor or access point so in the Netgear settings ive made sure access control is turned off, it already knows the password to log in, ive put it into mixed mode b/g/N not just N. Hope its clear because im stuck!
  15. Well I want to fix this niggle, its vibrating down at the front but cant see any reason why itis. I "think" it stops when I turn the blowers off, probably becuase the engine it at a lower idle and vibrating less. All rubber lug type things are still there. Anyone else had this?
  16. Castrol Edge 5W30 is what a few use including myself.
  17. Sorry ment, to low to cause problems. So long as I dont smash the sump or affect the handling to much im happy enough to have it that low. (I avoid speed bumps anyway). Will invest in a low jack though. =-)
  18. Mine are getting fitted on Friday! Normally I would help out but cant get time off work so im leaving it in the capable hands. Since the jack probably wont fit under it by the time they get done I was thinking of telling him to lower it about 10-15mm from the top of tyre to the arch (50/17" tyres), would this be to low?
  19. Mines starting to do the same, been on less than a year. (If I rock the car from the front you can hear it squeak at the back), unless its the springs. Will find out next week when its serviced. Will probably put some copperease on if the supplied stuff has dried already.
  20. Will give the jubilee clips ago 2moz, if not im sure I can source some pipe clamps but if other people have no problems then jubilee's it is. Whiteline RARB is already on just need the Coilies next + wishbone bushes oh and a job to fund this lol. Im glad I fitted the dogbone bushes today without any problems.
  21. Will a jubilee clip be sufficient enough? Im all for the cheaper option at this moment in time =-)
  22. Hi, right I changed the FARB bushes with standard ones but with the 17mm hole. Now as I removed the plastic coating where the bush goes onto I cracked the metal lip things, which led to them falling off that stops the ARB from moving about. Basically is this bad? do I need to get a new arb? Ive drove it and steering seems alot lighter although this may be because of the new bushes) theres sometimes a slight noise coming from the front when going over rumble strips but have not yet found ifits the arb or not.
  23. I have the same one and checked it after 5k and it looked like new. Will probs just check it at every service (10k), but it wont harm to check every 5k and give it a pat down but re--oil at 10k.
