  1. It may be location sensitive, it works in Estonia.
  2. Have you tried to purchase navigation option from HU shop menu? I activated my navigation (2023 Kodiaq) through https://shop.skoda-connect.com/
  3. It is MK2, You should post this to MK2 thread.
  4. After I tinted rear window, the dimming does not work well. The sensor is in the rear view mirror - not enough light is getting through tinted windows. If i show flashlight to the sensor, mirrors dim as they should.
  5. - does the Amundsen in my mooted new car have a smaller screen than a Columbus model (if available)? - Yes, it has smaller screen same like Bolero. - does the Amundsen require an SD card of maps to be permanently inserted? - No, in MIB3 there is no SD card slots, maps DB is inside the headunit. - the car has Bluetooth and so I presume the Amundsen will talk nice with my Android Phone, wrt music and phone calls? (I was quite happy with CDs tbh, you know where you are with CDs!) - It has support for wireless Android Auto and that plays very well with Android.
  6. Facelift modell has 3way setup in front doors.
  7. I think this is related what screen you have and did you use navigation (wiht navigation I have 5 options). For my Kodiaq VC changes the selection and automatically when I start navigation (using android auto & waze) it jumps to navigation view and shows arrows.
  8. Typo, I wanted to type 120. I agree that there are decimal place differences, but as i am not that accurate anyway - don't care.
  9. According to my experience with My2023 Kodiaq, it aligns accurately with phones GPS speed measurement in Waze at least from 0- 120 km/h. Very linear for my car.
  10. It is possible to configure it using OBD11 or similar, to show accurate speed with your current wheels.
  11. For traffic updates you need Infotainment Online subscription. MartiniB link has all the info with pictures.
  12. I did not see 3 isofixes in that video.... Only 3 hooks behind the seats. I think, the center seat is too narrow to fit 3rd isofix babyseat in the back.
  13. As far as I know Superb does not offer 3 isofixes on backseat, you can have extra for front seat. Then it is 3 in total.
  14. Yes, car works, but with some limitations described abow. I had to drive for a month when waited new service slot to replace BCM.
  15. I had those symptoms in summer. Dealer tried to remove component protection, but did not succeed. Had to replace BCM. In the component protection mode all the interior lights are out, screens are dimmed, seat heating is also disabled.
  16. I bought FL Kodiaq MK1 (2023) and it has exactly the same behavior with Bolero.
  17. You can't, they are bi-xenons and share the same lens for dipped and high beam. Only thing you can do is find balance between those two.
  18. In Superb I find wheel road noise the loudest.
  19. Some cars actually have noise cancellation: https://www.autobytel.com/10-cars-with-active-noise-cancellation
  20. Regarding audio quality there is definitely difference between sources. For me best is to use SD/USB (it also supports FLAC), bluetooth is the weakest.
  21. When follow your link, it will warn that they don't fit : WILL NOT FIT EU 2017 Skoda Superb III
  22. When set to rear, mine play only mids and tweeters lack of clear sound, dull output (compared to front speakers, sound set to front). It is not balanced in my opinion and experience with my car. But, at the end I have made compromise, when I am driving alone, my sub is set to 0, if I have back seat travellers I have to tune it down to -5. No chaneges to other parameters Surround is ~6, high +5, mid +1, low +9 (to have bass in front at least).
  23. Have been listening different cars with canton, result was the same. This is available starting from facelift. Not an option for first releases.
  24. My problem is that in backseat the sound is **** compared to front highs are lacking and bass is boosting when sound is set up for drivers like.. Luckily Škoda addressed this problem with facelift model. It sounds way better in backseat compared to pre facelift.
